hey! okay so this is my first attempt in writing an ff on swaragini. it will be an FF mostly focused on RagLak but it will also focus on Swasan. but mostly RagLak. I'm sorry to all the Swasan fans! I'll try to write them a ff later😛
anyways I hope you like it. and please do leave comments stating what I could do better or what will help me in the future. I'm open to suggestions. but please don't bash😳

Character sketch:
Maheshwari family:
Durga Prasad Maheshwari- Father of Adarsh, Lakshya, and Yuvraj. Same as the show.
Annapurna Durga Prasad Maheshwari- Mother of Adrash, Lakshya, and Yuvraj. Same as the show.
Ram Prasad Maheshwari- Father of Sankar and Uttara. Same as the show.
Sujatha Ram Prasad Maheshwari- Mother or Sankar and Uttara. Same as the show.
Ashok Prasad Maheshwari- Father of Twinkle and Karthik. He's a chill father, not strict loves all his kids, and his friend Manohar kids a lot. Considers Kunj, Ragini, and Mahi as his own kids. Modern father. Let's his kids go out and party and do anything, cause he trusts his kids. Lives with Manohar's family in Canada. Chote papa of Yuvraj considers him his son as well he lives with them. He is a business man.
Leela Ashok Prasad Maheshwari- Mother of Twinkle and Karthik. She is a chill Punjabi Mother loves her kids a lot. Considers Kunj, Ragini, and Mahi as their own kids. She is a modern mother. Trusts her kids so she lets them party. She is the Choti Ma of Yuvraj but treats him like a son, because he loves them. Lives with Manohar's family in the same house in Canada. Also helps out in her husband's business.
Adarsh Durga Prasad Maheshwari- same as the show.
Parineeta Adarsh Maheshwari- same as the show. Not evil.
Siya Adarsh Maheshwari- she is the daughter of Adarsh and Parineeta. Is 3 Years old
Sankar Ram Prasad Maheshwari- Same as the show. He will be playing a supporting character.
Swara Sanskar Maheshwari- Same as the show. She will also play a supporting character.
Sur Sanskar Maheshwari- 4 years old.
Lakshya Durga Prasad Maheshwari- Same as the show. Main character. Father or Aditya.
Karthik Ashok Prasad Maheshwari/ KT Maheshwari- He is a chill person. Loves his family and friends a lot, can do anything for them. Is best friends with Ragini, Mahi, Yuvi, Kunj and twinkle. Shares a great bond with the kids in the family. Knows that Ragini is lakshya's ex-wife. Younger to Laksh by three months. He's really modern. He is a famous pop star, also helps out his father and mother in the business. Considers jhanki and Manohar as his parents. Main character.
Yuvraj Durga Prasad Maheshwari- He is like Karthik. Loves his family a lot. He is closest with laksh, Karthik, Ragini, Kunj, twinkle and Mahi. Has a great bond with all the kids in the family. Younger to laksh by 2 years and a half. He's really modern. Helps out in the business. Considers Leela, Ashok, Manohar, and jhanki as his parents too. Main character.
Uttara Ram Prasad Maheshwari- same as the show.
Sarna Family:
Manohar Sarna- caring, sweet and modern. Loves his kids and grandkids and considers Karthik, twinkle, and Yuvraj as his own kids. He is the same as Ashok lives with his friends family and his own in Canada. He is a business man.
Jhanki Manohar Sarna- Sweet, caring and modern mother. Loves her kids to death and grandkids, considers twinkle, Karthik, and Yuvraj as her kids. She is the first wife of Shekhar Gadodia. She is the same as Leela. Lives in Canada with Ashok's family and her own. Also helps out her husband in his business.
Kunj Manohar Sarna- he is an awesome brother, husband, son, and dad. Loves his wife, kids and family very much can do anything for them. His biological father is Shekhar Gadodia but considers Manohar his only father as he raised him to be who he is today. Considers Yuvraj and Karthik as his brothers. He is very modern. Helps out his dad in his business. Has been married to twinkle for 8 years. Main character.
Twinkle Kunj Sarna- she is a Punjabi phataka with beauty and brains. Joyful, bubbly, loving, caring, full of life. Loves her family, husband and kids to death. Can do anything for them. Considers Mahi and Ragini as her sister. Very close with all of them. She is also very modern. Has been married to Kunj for 8 years. And helps out in the business also. Main character.
Anshuman Kunj Sarna/ Ansh- 7 and a half years old. Older to kaya by 1 and a half year. Older to adi by 2.25 years.
Kaya Kunj Sarna- 6 years old, younger to ansh by a year and a half. And older to adi by 9 months (3 quarter of a year older than him)
Ragini Manohar Sarna/ Roxy Sarna- she is not the old Ragini. She is stronger, independent and courageous. Bubbly, fun, loving, full of life, and outgoing. Just like her sister mahi and her Bhabhi twinkle. Loves her family to death. Loves adi more than anything. Has a good bond with all the kids. Very close with everyone in the family. Considers Leela and Ashok as he parents also. She is the biological daughter of Shekhar but considers Manohar as her dad. She is a very famous pop star like Karthik. Also helps out in the business. She is very modern. Main character.
Aditya Lakshya Maheshwar/ Adi- Is 5 years old. Younger to ansh by 2.25 years. And younger to kaya by 9 months (3 quarters of a year younger to her). Knows Lakshya is his father. He knows all of the maheshwari family.
Mahi Manohar Sarna- she is just like Ragini and twinkle bubbly, fun, and outgoing. Loves her family a lot close with everyone. Considers Leela and Ashok as parents. Has a good bond with all the kids just like everyone else in the family. Very modern. Helps out with the business also. Main character.
Gadodia family:
Shekhar Gadodia- same as serial.
Sharmishta Shekhar Gadodia- same as the serial.
Dadi- same as serial
Dada- he died, after 2 years after Ragini left.
Note:
- Jhanki never died, it was assumed she was dead in a car crash along with her son Kunj. But Ragini knew she was alive and would secretly go and meet them. Also she was present for twinkle and kunjs wedding. She met her mom through mahi and twinkle. She was best friends with them and one day mahi took her to her house and she found out the mahi is her sister. She loves Manohar as her own dad. Manohar has adopted Ragini.
- The whole family knows raginis past. (both of the families)
- Ragini and her family know that Karthik dad is brothers with Durga and ram Prasad Maheshwari and that Yuvraj is Lakshya's younger brother.
- Mahi and Yuvraj love each other. The family is okay with it.
- Ashok got kicked out of the house because he married a Punjabi women, but when Ragini left, Ashok met his brother accidently and they all got back together. But he still doesn't live with them because he has a business in Canada with Manohar, but they all keep in touch.
- Manohar and ashok have a joint business, they are also childhood friends.
- Manohar knows about jhankis first husband Shekhar.
- All the kids from the Sarna family and Ashok kids and yuvi are very modern, they wear short clothes and dresses, they part and also drink. Not always tho. Also, they know their limits.
The story will start from the part Ragini gets stabbed and is taken to the hospital.
Prologue:
Ragini had gotten stabbed while saving lakshya's life. She was immediately taken to the hospital. The doctors ran a quick check up on her and found out that she was not stabbed deeply. After the doctor had dressed her wound s Ragini had gained conscious.
"oh your awake, I should go tell your family," the doctor told Ragini and was about to leave when he stopped and turned around " your very lucky that the stab wasn't deep or else you would have lost you, child."
Ragini looked at him confused, the doctor looked at her and said: "you know your one month pregnant right?"
Ragini couldn't believe her ears, she was pregnant. She was going to be a mother. She needs to tell laksh she thought for a second. But then stopped because she didn't know if he would accept the child. He hated her why would he accept the child. Instead of accepting he would hurt her and the child only. No, I can't tell him.
She looked up at the doctor and said: " please don't tell my family about me being pregnant."
"okay, but you need to be very careful." He said. The doctor was about to leave when raging again called out to him.
"can you please tell everyone the I don't want to meet anyone as of now"
"As you wish"
And he walked out informing the family that Ragini had asked to be alone for some time. And that they can visit her in the morning. The two families tried to argue but the doctor told them that it was her wish and that they should respect it. So the families left and decided to come in the morning to meet their dear laddoo.
While Ragini in her hospital room was talking to someone on the phone
"I need your help," she said to the speaker.
"I'm on my way" the speaker replied.
The next morning both the families had come back to the hospital early in the morning to meet their laddoo, but instead of finding laddoo they found a letter left behind by her only addressed to swara.
Letter:
Dear swara,
When you read this letter I would be long gone. I know you must hate me for leaving you, for leaving swaragini. But trust me I had no choice but to take this step only. I know you will miss me and I will too but whenever you do remember all the fun times we all had. I love you more than anything in this world. I have caused so much harm to you. If you can please forgive me. I was blind in my love for lakshya the man who didn't care for me one bit and betrayed me. I'm sorry. Me leaving all of you Is for the betterment of you, the family and me, trust me we all will be happier this way. Don't be upset swara, always stay happy. I'll always live in your heart. And haan tell Sankar that I have given him the responsibility for taking care of my sister. Tell the Maheshwari family that I am very truly sorry for whatever I did to them. And I regret it very much. Take care of sumi maa and don't let her cry. Tell her I love her so much, also, tell her to take care of herself. Tell baba not to be upset also and that to take care of himself and sumi maa. Also, tell him to not separate you and Sankar and not to be mad at the Maheshwari family I love you three. I'm sorry once again. I had to take this step. I'm very sorry. Maybe we will meet again. One day.

Swara who read this letter out loud broke down along with sumi while Shekhar was shocked he couldn't believe his daughter left.
Laksh was going through a rollercoaster of emotions. He should be happy that Ragini left his life but he was upset. He didn't want to accept the fact that she left. She was all he had been thinking about this whole week. He was so close to figuring out his feelings and all of a sudden she left, not once thinking that what would happen to him without her. But he didn't deserve her cause he was the one who broke her not once but many times. He didn't deserve her, but why does he feel that she's only his.
Everyone was shocked and didn't know what to say or what to do.
Swara who was on the floor looked up to see laksh shocked and tears coming out of his eyes. She got up, wiped her tears and walked towards him and gave him a tight slap. laksh didn't react and looked down, cause he knew he very well deserved it.
Swara who wasn't done yet gave him another tight slap. Grabbed his collar and yelled
"YOU MR. LAKSHYA MAHESHWARI ARE THE SOLE REASON WHY MY SISTER ISN'T HERE. SHE MIGHT HAVE NOT STATED IT IN THE LETTER BUT I KNOW HER VERY WELL. IT'S ONLY CAUSE OF YOU. YOU BROKE HER NOT JUST ONCE BUT MANY TIMES. YOU RUINED HER! YOU TURNED HER INTO THE MONSTER SHE BECAME, YOU SHATTERED HER! I WISH SHE WOULD HAVE NEVER MET A MAN AS DISGUSTING AS YOU! I HATE YOU MR. LAKSHYA MAHESHWARI! I HATE YOU!"
And with that, she fainted. Laksh was about to help her when sanskara stopped him and picked up swara and said "don't touch her. You have already hurt her and Ragini, I don't want your shadow near me or my wife. So just stay away." With that, he walked away with swara in his arms while laksh just stood there crying. He deserved all of it.
While on the other side
A girl and a guy were shown boarding the flight to leave Kolkata.
