hi swathi, my view is that its a very moving post, simplified yet very applicable to life . one of the hardest for any individual is to nullify the I.me,and myself element within them self. ..and why not as Shakespeare puts it through Hamlets words.. my favorite quote! builds my self esteem..
"What a piece of work is a man! how noble in reason!
how infinite in faculty! in form and moving how
express and admirable! in action how like an angel!
in apprehension how like a god! the beauty of the
world! the paragon of animals! And yet, to me,
what is this quintessence of dust?
However those who can look and live beyond their noses are indeed noble, putting the good of others first rather than self edification.. However our actions have implications on the world we live in..and hence what others think of us does matter. Hence our actions do create an impression upon others and their reactions to our actions , to a large extent has an impact on how, not only others see us but also how we see ourselves also. dhani , grows stronger in persevarance as a result of kanak's deeprooted hatred towards her. Kamini is a product of a society that snatches what it wants what it cannot have..
thanks swathi , for a brilliant post ,certainly made me digress and deviation .. still it inspired me to think.. thanks very much , looking out for next thought coming from you... love hammie

Dear Hammie 😊 soo good to see you ...thank you for reading and sharing your view...very well explained loved it 😃...yes in the society we analyse what people think of us and it is in human nature ...but in the cases like KT where they have nothing but negative thoughts then in such cases we one drags themselves to please such people it only ends up hurting a person (Dhani).

Yes I agree that Dhani thinks good of others and does put others before her but to assume that the whole world is positive is going to hurt her...this is exactly what dadi suggested her...she needs to know where to put a full stop and protect her self respect.

As far as Km is concerned she is outright negative and does much more harm to people...she puts on a mask and acts like a well wisher of people...such people only know how to snatch as you rightly say they don't know how to earn what they want...Till then take care.

Swathi , don't waste time impressing others ... Is so correct .

Yet if some one or something is important and valuable and requires you to be understood and appreciated then trying to impress that person is not that bad .

If I have a boss who sees me doing just one kind of job and does not know how good I am at others then I should and will try an extend myself to be noticed . He may not give me an opportunity but trying again to make a dent is not bad .

The only thing I would say in impressing is not to falsify or over promise and be yourself .

As for the opposite party appreciating or not depends in their thoughts and biases . Folks who have pre conceived notions about you can never be impressed or worked upon .

That breaking point needs to be understood as when to drop the impressing and move on .

Hello Ratna...good to see you 😊...thank you for reading and sharing your view...True it depends upon the situation and the people whom we try to impress ...in the case where you mentioned there is no harm in trying to get noticed by the boss where it does help the individual as well the organization as well...after all people are assets to an organisation...it is through them the company runs.

Yes for the people like kanak with frozen ideas shall never give a chance to a person at all ...wasting our time on such people serves no purpose...Eventually we need to decide whom and when to impress a person and when to stop as you said...Till then take care.
