KP & DT - killing it without trying

It's so funny yet amazing to me that KP and DT slay at awards & appreciation despite the fact (1) they don't butter fans with selfies, joint interviews, etc, (2) their on screen couple is separated & story is nauseating, (3) they both generally don't apply any fan/not-a-fan/whatever critique of their appearance (earrings, hair, build, style), and so on...

I just said this today that DivAn are the saving grace of IshRa as the rest of the cast is the only reason to really watch YHM! This show has been ruined immensely while the main character's have been continuously butchered, however there is always a wish to see one scene where these actors show their abilities. DivAn can bring life to IshRa when their characters have already been killed by the writers so many times!

That very casting of YHM, as you mentioned is EK's specialty! She has a talent for casting pairs whether it's leads & often times parallel leads who are equally loved, and that's her triumph card! She has an eye for chemistry and DivAn are one example of many BT lead pairs that are loved so much! Stories will be ruined, people will hate the show yet can't get away from the leads and that's what keeps many hooked to her shows. She sees chemistry that many don't as the DivAn have mentioned themselves many times. Sadly its this great casting that stop people from completely detaching from the shows that no one would love if it weren't for these amazing talented actors!

I've seen a lot of EK & non-EK jodis that had great chemistry but here as individual characters - even under the most atrocious of storylines...KP and DT individually have the acting talent to make you feel even when you don't want to!

For whatever people perceive off screen - these two are undoubtly good solid actors as shown time & time again, and the fact that when they come together on screen, they have this amazing & unique chemistry is an added bonus for viewers!

EK sadly knows how to suck us in with good chemistry & a decent story for 6 months, and then just relies on that chemistry to carry the show. Despite watching 10+ BT shows, this is the first I stuck with even with dumb tracks & separation thanks to the acting bc I know some amazing scenes are coming up like Ishita & Adi meeting tomorrow!

For sheer talent, you cannot go past Divan.

And the residual cast is also pretty good. Of course, as you say there are some unnecessary characters (Mosquito and Naagin/Oonth/Anaconda come to mind) played by some pretty average mono expression actors, but generally the casting has been spot on and the actors have ably supported Divan.

And honestly its refreshing to see a show where the leads may not be physically perfect and buffed, yet they still rule the roost by their sheer talent and that so perfect its almost spooky chemistry.

I agree - especially about them not being physically perfect! Like they are no doubt good looking & put lots of effort (and funds) into maintaining that, but throughout the 2.5 year run they haven't always tried to conform to the standard six-pack meets itty bitty waist & despite that, they have been making more than actors who do conform to those standards. Like yes, physical fitness is important to one's health but heck, it's each person's own prerogative - why change bc society wants you one way?

Bang on yaar show chalta hein toh sirf because of d cast and to be specific because of divan and yes we dnt get a joint interview or selfie Phir bhi we go crazy for them one divan moment in any olv and we go crazy for days because of dat these have something in them whch attracts us and we can't avoid d show for long time because of them even if d storyline is not appealing many of us didn't want to vote for them this time because of crappy storyline but at d end we all voted for them and see wat they have swept away almost all d awards
