Sucess of Ki and Ka proves:

1. Arjun Kapoor is back in the game, after 2 States. This movie will actually do wonders for his career.

2. Kareena can still give younger actresses a run for their money.

3. A good script always works.

4. Older actress and younger actor combination can work.

5. Married actresses can command a loyal fan-following, especially if they still look good and can act well.

6. This generation has stiff competition amongst men - Ranveer, Vraun, Ranbir, now Arjun and Sid too. Sushant can come back strongly too.

Anything else? Discuss.

About your points:

1. Arjun just got lucky. Plus he's an industry kid so he had a while before really being out of the game.

2. Actualy yes, if she chooses to Kareena can give others a run for their money.

3. According to the reviews it wasn't that good of a script. More like the concept got people curious, and then Balki got lucky.

4. 6 years is not that much of an age difference especially when she looks like Kareena and he looks like Arjun 🤢

5. Yes, very true.

6. I don't think all of them are in the same league. Their careers seem kind of dispersed in terms of talent and box office.

Overall, I think the concept got people interested and Kareena's star power pushed it into getting the extra publicity and oomph.

It had only 1 open week, and then it got hit by Jungle Book, that was equivalent to pretty much a biggie. Otherwise it would have reached 50 crores a lot faster.

Also, arent Arjun and Kareena only 3 years apart? Not 6?

movie got mixed reviews
kareena still has star power and looks
arjun got mixed reviews but he was adorable.
most of my friends want husband like ka.(not arjun)
and now just wait for udta punjab
bebo will nail that.
and the most imp
aish starpower is less than bebo
atleast in india.
but jazbaa dint do any impressive business outside india too.
and bebo wAs better that aish is jazbaa. ( the comparison because they both are married and are popular And in demand)

I always get confused about how old Kareena is. I'm pretty sure Arjun is 30 so is Kareena only 33 then? I thought people here said she was 36. Either way it's not much, and she doesn't even look older than him at all.

Arjun is 30, Kareena 35. That is quite a difference. But it doesn't really matter, especially as most of the top actresses are 30(Sonam, Deepika)or reaching 30( Kangana, Shraddha, Sonakshi, Parineeti, Anushka)

I just double checked. Yes he's only 30. His birthday is June 1985. So he'll be 31 in a couple of months. Four and half years or even five years is not enough to be considered an age difference.
