I think she is fine for Mastani considering B-wood doesn't have many options. The clothes could have looked better though.

DP actually could fit as mastani she got the charm BUT somehow she kinda didnt captured the soul of the character so sometimes it's like fell short in the expression etc, more like look grand cause the setting and the costume (just like ranveer, i just dont find his acting amazing lately hmmm), that's why i feel PC steal the show, but if i have to give a rank order it will be PC > DP > RS

it's ok she still talented actress, it's not like she can be perfect the whole dang time

In all honesty when Deepika opens her mouth with that horrible line delivery of hers, I cannot notice the acting anymore because when she talks it is too distracting.

I dont really see Anushka in a period film, bu she is a good actress.

Mastani was her weakest performance in the last 4 years ..she was back to giving those blank big eyed expressions with bad dialougue delivery

I think that along with Ranveer and PC that Deepika was brilliant as Mastani...I actually liked her more as Mastani than Piku😆

The flaw with Mastani is that SLB reduced her character to a mere caricature and pretty much gave DP little to work with.
