This is the video of 'Headlines Today' where Sonam and Deepika made subtle digs at each other.

In my opinion there was no need for either of them to talk about another. A dignified 'No comments' would have suffice.

First the question was posed at Sonam who said that this is not Deepika's first film. Then Deepika retaliated by saying that she bagged the role on her own not because of any film connection. It is Deepika's first film in Bollywood. If Deepika has experience in a Kannada film then Sonam has film experience assisting SLB in Black and also help from her actor father. So both are for sure used to the film world.

Hope they let their work speak instead of indulging in any kind of war, hot or cold😛 and media should stop picking on each sentence uttered by the actor to suit their palette. But I am sure in coming days we will see more of these kind of statements from both actors and their fans arguing and justifying their favorite's stand.

Gosh this is just getting ridicolous i wish both would stop over-promoting their films full stop 😡

I concur. They made debut in two different kind of cinema so there is no comparison then why the digs? They should be well aware that media is going to constantly put them in spotlight so if they start like this then what's in store for us in future?

Sonnam's reply was definitely better... she was less offensive and that Deepika has done a movie already was the truth so no need to get offended.

Media instigated them and they caved in. Both made subtle digs and truth is both of them are right but evident that there are cold vibes.
