All have said that SLB has shot for 4-5 hours and final product was around 2 hour 40 min

One scene cut for DP and Ranveer vs 3 scenes for PC and the song! My memory's great. I know SLB was probably trying to make Bajirao Mastani's love story more convincing by editing out Kashibai's heartbreak song and other scenes (again still didn't work though because people connected to Kashi the most) but it would've been nice to see that.

Ps. I was just saying hypothetically because SLB was cribbing about PC and DP not winning. Ruled out Deepika because I didn't like her performance in BM

I never said that.. There will be a lot of Indians who would speak better Urdu than me regardless of their religion as well... I am only saying that Deepika didn't catch the accent and dialect. Hence I do not think she worked that hard or it was an award wining performance... She couldn't convince a lot of people that she had enough of talent to play Mastani.. On the other hand Priyanka did really well and worked on her dialect and accent.. She lived the character of KashiBai
