Yeah keep wishing, bhansali. Comparing DP to a powerhouse actress like Kangana is a joke - Priyanka I get, she's an amazing actress, but DP is miles behind them.

I would like to take a shot of what he is on please. If he was honest and said Piku I would have said it was a close one. But even Filmfare chose Piku over BM and she was nominated for both. Not because Piku was smaller budget and more 'realistic' but because her performance was miles ahead in it. In BM it was as though the spark that was in Deepika was extinguished and it was not because she was playing Mastani. Even her Leela had more life on screen.

DP for Bajirao Mastani? 😕 Come on she looked stupid uttering urdu verses I still cant get over the fact that she butchered my language.. It was cringeworthy...she was not even worthy of wining xyz award for BM let alone the national award!!

P.S: Anyone who is interested in knowing the dialect of Urdu Language just watch the trailer of upcoming Pakistani movie Mah-e-Meer.. Now that is considered Urdu Adab!!

Well if you didn't cut 3 of Priyanka's scenes and 1 of her songs to make Deepika look better (still didn't work though) your film actress could've won the award!

I love Deepika but she was so underwhelming in BM, you didn't do justice to her role or talent SLB. How do u even expect her to win NA for that? I feel neither Deepika nor Kangana were their best last year.

Considering the fact that Urdu originated around Lucknow and Delhi, is spoken by around 60mn Indians and is also one of the 22 official languages of India...trust me we know the appropriate dialect too, here in India. Please do not be dissuaded by Deepika's pathetic accent or consider it as the benchmark for Indians speaking Urdu.
