For all you know he kind of imposed these values on his wife (who was a working woman) too and that was the cause if conflict..ofcourse wrong on her part to leave Shravan alone and walk out but then that's what Ramnath said and no one knows the other side..

In case they don't want to go with black and white, this would make a good reason for conflict. But then Hindi serials hold families in traditional sense above everything else..so not sure if they would do justice to such an issue

I don't know why but something about Ramnath doesn't sit well with me though they haven't shown anything obviously wrong with him.

A failed father? Not sure about that. Though the desi trope of successful businessman/woman, failed parent is quite common.

Not much is revealed about his family growing up, apart from Pushkar of course. Kids from broken homes turn into emotional wrecks. The mother walked out, the father sent him away in the next few days. Will we get to see how THAT affected the young Shravan? From a family environment to all alone and lonely.

I don't want to watch one more whitewashing plot laila turned charcoal black ,but I agree that how it's going to be in most tele shows

Not sure if you watched IPK , I like how they treated lavanya's character with a lot of diginity.

Actually I feel whether joint or nulcear the reason to staying together should be respect ,trust love etx anything else makes things complicated

Ragnath is goign anything else way ,puskar genuine ly loved everyone ,Varuns dad too

But rest every one are sticking together cos of money or something else

Can't say hes completely wrong ,it happens in many joint familirs ,especially buisness families but somehow I feel there is more to it

I hope they don't drag this urvashi track ,I can't find any relevance for her character in the story ...laila and lavanya were an integral part of the story and they took the story forward ...urvashi is just in my opinion to demean suman or may be give a reaon for the family (chachi ,vsnfy etx)to dislike suman ,they have none now

I agree, Urvashi's character wasn't really required. If she was Shravan's per-existing GF, like Lavanya was, that would be a different story. I hope the writers don't go the typical jealousy route.

There is also supposed to be a sis here. Who is typically a kind of girl he dislikes. Hope the writers dumped that idea. It would turn too messy.

Education is a very valid reason ,but I think the girl left much before that ,school phase I guess

Or may be she was with her mom after divorce... Then I would be interested to watch ...my.only hope.from this track is if she's a rebel and doesn't takes ramnath's words fully and she knows the other side of the story

Jealousy track is always a filler track ,I dislike it too 😕

About the flashbacks, they have been about Suman and Shravan only. I don't think any family members have been shown.

Have a question on Shravan's chauvinistic behavior. Apart from the initial promos, he hasn't been chauvinistic or am I missing something.
