If they do proceed with the engagement drama, I doubt Urvashi will be as bad as Laila. This girl is shown more as an air-head (God, I hate that!!), and quite harmless. The article does say that she would be aware of the equation between Suman and Shravan.

Urvashi's feelings would be glossed over for sure. Would be better if they take the Lavanya way out than paint her black. Either way. she would end up getting hurt for no fault of hers.

It was a beautiful episode
I liked the part where he assumes she is about to put color k. Him ,he seems to have to idea his much he has disappointed her ...he also took some.time to absorb the fact and finally the realization hit him that's its finally over ...
The best part was words generally dilutr what they want to covrry ,this didn't have much words

I read a lot of posts about the lead actors acting, I also liked the FL portrayal especially the part where she says aakiri hisaab very well done !

I liked the episode too... barring the holi dance of course. 😛

The beauty of the show is how they leave things open to interpretation, unlike most shows that are over simplified. Remember Shyam or MaChisa monologues.😆

A lot of the forum members read it as hurt, some guilt, and a few mix of both. Ditto on not using dialogs. No long drawn bhashans. Just a phrase and she was done.

Both the lead actors are able to portray the emotions just right. But people on IF do have a tendency of favoring the ML.

Ditto, Also, I love the layered characters where the writers are in no rush to reveal but don't drag either.

I doubt the trp would affect it much. It is apparently a finite show, according to Nikita Dutta in an interview.

Would like to hear Rajnath's monologue for sure. Something tells me he is not what he appears.

^^^ragnath I have missed feeling about him too ...although.he seems sorted he takes efforts to seem fair he's too careful with everything and I hated the way he handled the mom leaving issue
Sravan as a child was under confident and that had nothing much to do with he.being good in studies or.sumo treating him badly ,the phase before that also...he was an odd.man out.and he had issues mingling with.people ...as a very successful man he failed as a father (too quick to jump.tk conclusions :-)

but I feel.more than external.environment what effects children is when family doesn't pay attention to the child's insecurities ...since its a tele soap not sure whether they will take that turn or not ,since they need one good guy on each family pushu is there but not sure

Rajnath appears too white... like a perfect dad. He is the odd guy out for sure.

A failed father? Not sure about that. Though the desi trope of successful businessman/woman, failed parent is quite common.

Not much is revealed about his family growing up, apart from Pushkar of course. Kids from broken homes turn into emotional wrecks. The mother walked out, the father sent him away in the next few days. Will we get to see how THAT affected the young Shravan? From a family environment to all alone and lonely.

I like you posts :)
They have a different perspective about something or other

And count me in..
Urvashi is going to be collateral damage here.
As of now she is just shown as a shallow air head and would probably converted into a full blown vamp in near future as most third wheels unfortunately are ( I see you guys mentioning laila..unfortunately she was converted into one too)
But she isn't wrong..she wants to marry a well settled guy who seems interested in her..just that we know he isn't and that she isn't the heroine..so people love to hate her

Problem is third wheels in Indian soaps are mostly shown to be one dimensional..either as shallow airheads who turn evil when they realise that the leads love each other or plain evil to start with..coz then it gets easier to whitewash the lead(s)

Sorry to jump in..

The first time when they showed ramnath visiting nanaji, he mentioned how for a girl/woman, family is supposed to be more important and should take precedence over career

For all you know he kind of imposed these values on his wife (who was a working woman) too and that was the cause if conflict..ofcourse wrong on her part to leave Shravan alone and walk out but then that's what Ramnath said and no one knows the other side..
In case they don't want to go with black and white, this would make a good reason for conflict. But then Hindi serials hold families in traditional sense above everything else..so not sure if they would do justice to such an issue

I don't know why but something about Ramnath doesn't sit well with me though they haven't shown anything obviously wrong with him.

sorry just barged in. well i agree ramnath appears to me as a layered character. i dont see him liking suman much too. as she is a working woman. i dont think shravan's mother ran away with anyone as he said. i feel she was a very careeristic woman and he might have forced her to leave. and looking at the way suman reacted i think his mother and father had fights regularly and leaving the house didnot appear to her as a shock,. maybe earlier also she left or something. i was wondering whether they ll bring his mother back. as the story is incomplete their and namik said in the interview that what he is now due to 2 woman. one is his mother and one is suman. so i feel in future we ll get to see his mother.

Thanks:-)
Welcome to team urvashi
I don't want to watch one more whitewashing plot laila turned charcoal black ,but I agree that how it's going to be in most tele shows
Not sure if you watched IPK , I like how they treated lavanya's character with a lot of diginity.
