I don't think she is faking.I may be wrong.
But this whole thing whether she is faking or whether it is real it is coming from her perception that her life would be empty without that child.All her actions till now have been driven by this perception of hers more than maa ki mamta.
She doesn't look at what she has in her life now. She has Kamili who trusts her and respects her much more than she trusts her parents.Kamili is a strong woman but she is young and needs guidance and Mangala could have been her mentor and guide.With Kamili's support she too could accomplish so many things in life. What stopped Mangala from looking at the plus points in her life?
Kamili too just like her has not given up on Harki and Kundan.She has seen Kamili trying so hard to make Harki and Kundan to see some sense. Why can't she make this her mission in life?Why can't she find meaning for her life through these people?She thinks of them as her family so what stops her from making herself a useful tool in their lives?
She knew that the child wanted to go to her mother all along.Instead of giving into the child's wishes and moving along in life why was she clinging onto something which never really was hers?
I felt sorry for Kamili looking at the way she was trying to handle Mangala.She was desperate for guidance and there was no one for her and she called up Anandi.She was worried about Mangala at the same time she was scared.Her mother is not someone whom she could go for emotional support.
Mangala had life waiting for her in Jhalra but she failed to see it.
She saw a totally different life while she was in Jaitser.All she did was she locked herself up in the room and tried to stop the child from reaching out to new things in life.
Faking or not her story will be complete only when she moves on in life.
