It's funny how Ash is always dragged into discussion when people talk about Sushmita and Sushmita is nowhere in picture when people talk about Ash and the fact that people need to drag down Ash in order to make Sushmita look better also surprises me.

Now since Ash has already been put down, I would like to make an analysis of their actual pros and cons.

I think Sushmita is beautiful and speaks beautifully (perhaps even better than an already eloquent Ash), but that does NOT take away the merits of Ash. Ash can act, dance, and made a bigger impact as a superstar all across the world than Sushmita. Whereas Ash left the Miss World title behind a long time ago, it is still a big reason as to why Sushmita is known by people today. Even in their personal lives, Aishwarya has always been dignified whereas Sushmita is known as a homebreaker of sorts.

And no, Sushmita didn't win Miss India because "Ash cannot hold a candle to her." IIRC, both their scores were exactly equal, to the second decimal (9.69/10 or something). And in the tie-breaker question also, Sushmita gave the wrong answer to an objective question as opposed to a subjective question given to Ash. Yet Sushmita was given the title, and won by 0.02 points.
