Hello the way they are going that shivratri is a total North Indian festival... Bengalis are mostly goddess Durga and Kali worshippers and their husband shivji .. Most bong girls keep a fast during shivratri for good husbands..

They are not so much in janmastami.. But shivratri is a big time bong festival

i don't know if bengalis prepare malpua or not but marwaris deftnly prepare & swara is now DIL of marwaris so she prepared .

Yes even i am a bengali and i also kept fast on shivratri...
so they can shw that in dis way too.

arre I am also Bengali..though I don't keep fast but my friends do...it is a big festival in Bengal and yes we do make Malpoha..mere ghar me aye din banta hai..😳

Yep..
shivratri is a bong festival...
and malpoa is also a bengali sweet...i love malpoa's dipped in shira(sugary juice) made by my mom :)
