I just realized something though:

Gauri explicitly stated she does not approve of the marriage.😊

Yug said Yes, but I think he is under the impression that he is getting hitched with Kali

(He does not know of Gauri's relationship with Neelkanth or Kali..rememba?!) 😆

Think about the maha twist when they get Gauri in front of him with an engagement ring and Yug's like 'Meri dulhan kaise change ho gayi? Arey! Koi Neelkanth ki sister ko leke aao, ye Princess ke saath mujhe kyun bandh rahe ho?' 🤣

I mean, I guess he will be happy to see Gauri, the person he has been looking for a long time, but he will certainly be confused as to why he is NOT getting married to Kali till he finds out the truth. And then hell be gone, he will make sure she is not mistreated anymore. Manjri Maa may also get her memory back, but I am more looking forward to this confusion track

Also, I just had another idea: What if Sharmila's Hero (ex-fiance) somehow turns up at the mandap and claims that he is ready to marry Sharmila despite his family's objections or something like that? That would be high voltage drama and save her from getting hitched in a household where Taiji is sure to make her life living hell.

Yug might even keep a condition in front of Kali to appear in court and testify against her brother if she wants this marriage to happen. It does point towards him being unaware its 'Yug weds Gauri' and Kali will have no issues doing so. Just cannot wait for Yug-Gauri to come face-to-face now.

I hope he doesnt assume he's getting hitched to Kaali

I want him to fall in love with her irregardless of any of it

And I am the only one who doesn't want Sharmila and Neel to get married. He's actually a nice guy but he did molest her and so it's such a cruel punishment 🥱🥱

It would be really funny but I'm really felt bad for sharmila she will be again ended up with people who believes in superstition n parivar ki izzat n all that

Yug definately knows about Badke Papa's Princess but he has not seen her with Neelu Bhaiya to piece her place in the family. He merely thinks that Kali follows her around like sisters/friends hang out.

And technically, Kali was born before Gauri. So that does imply she needs to get hitched before Gauri Madame.

As for the love, we saw that he did witness the scene where Kali stopped the girls from talking filth about Sharmila, Neelu apologized and Kali was adamant he needs to get punished by Sharmila before demanding any forgiveness. The mutual attraction is already there, all you need is respect to make him acknowledge his growing feelings for her 😳

Well..I dont think NeelMila will get married so soon! True. He is really naive and its easy for Taiji and Badke Papa to brainwash him into doing things unlike his character. Either Neelu Bhaiya goes to jail, Manjri Maa gets her memory back or there is some other drama in the loop that does not let that happen.There needs to be conflict to make NeelMila's story seem appealing to the audience. Nowadays even people dont wanna see reel girls getting married to someone who molested them. 😊

I just feel even if she does get married to Neelkanth, she will be the ones making them repent their sins rather than them controlling her. The only reason she listens to Dadi is because she loves her, but there is no admiration or respect in her mind for the Jha family and she will not be afraid to tell them off if they cross their limits. Somewhat eventually I guess they are rooting for a Neelkant-Sharmila angle, so she will be able to make him stand up for himself just like Yug can show Kali that she is not a kaala teeka but a person who deserves to be respected too.

I think Sharmila is agreeing to the marriage, not becoz her mom said, but becoz she wants to take revenge from Neel for all the humiliation she had to go through and also to make her Dadi to feel guilt for making her life a hell

But i dont think that Dadi woman would feel even a bit of guilt for destroying her own granddaughter's life.

oh poor Neel! Sharmila is so gonna strangulate you for the mindless thing you did and you are gonna keep asking sorry every minute of your married life.

But i have a strong feeling that this is gonna go in the "All that starts with hate ends with love" path.

We have this kinda thing in many shows, i fervently hope it doesnt get boring.

And oh i think that there might be a 'Tom and Jerry' relationship between Sharmila and Kalyani, you know, coz both of 'em are quick thinkers and are good at villainous plotting and Kalyani simply hates sharmila. I just wish it would be comical like the tom n jerry show, maybe serious a bit here n there...but mostly funny.

Yug pls understand Kaali, i know that you saw her n neel asking forgiveness from sharmila, but i feel that you are still not convinced with Kaali.

Go shake the truth outta your Di about how she escaped from Neel's hold.

The thing i liked the most about today's epi was sharmila's dialogue 'whether she was raped or not doesnt matter, Neel's mind was set on disgracing her.'...something along of this (sorry if this is not exactly what she said)

The end scene was just put in with dramatic effects to make it look grand but it wasnt anything surprising

I am building my analysis just around that thought!

I mean obviously after there is some more progression in the plot and he is aware of her reality.

Misunderstanding has somewhat sublimed, but hoping Kali asks Gauri to follow her heart rather than blackmail her into consent.

Sharmila is a smart girl. I dont think she can be manipulated into agreeing to something without her wanting something concrete to come out of it. She is obviously consenting to a marriage on the basis that she will get her justice served. 😕

Dadi does care about Sharmila's future, we cannot dismiss her love just because she tried forcing Sharmila into the marriage. She is trying to save Sharmila from the humiliation that she faced when she went to college and those boys harassed her without thinking twice. Dadi is being selfish because she wants Yug to get married to Gauri (Kali) coz if her kundali, but it is not like she does not love Sharmila at all. It is an orthodox household, and despite that Dadi has never stopped Sharmila from education or wearing modern clothes (even though she does not see the point behind it and passes comments). 😳

She did say almost exactly what you have written and that is very well the summary behind NOT justifying Neelu's actions no matter how pious he is. Love will blossom between them and the relationship between Kalyani and Sharmila shall be more on par because of their brains, but she will prove to be a positive force in his life and make him stand up to the injustice he has suffered all these years. 😃

Yeppp!! And I do not think Yug can stay away from the fact that Kali is on the right path and wants to do whats best for both parties just like he wants to give his sister her deserved outcome.😊

Genuinely, I dont get the point of MahaSangam between shows that have almost nothing in common except a protagonist striving to prove her worth to the family and take tough decisions for the betterment of the household. 🥱
