Hello everyone.
This is my first post in this forum. I have been watching D4 since the very first episode. I had a lot of expectations from the show and I am glad to say that the show exceeded my expectations.
What got me to D4? Honestly, it was D3. D3 went on to become a sleeper hit and then such a huge success that it gave all the GEC shows a run for their money.
Being an ardent D3 fan, comparisons with D4 was inevitable, both for me and my friends. Before the show started, I was worried about a lot of things. Firstly, will the dance moves be as good as the ones in D3? Secondly, will Mikhail and Baby will be as electrifying a couple as Rey-Kriya and Swayam-Sharon? Thirdly, will they be able to live up to the high "Dosti" factor which was set so high by its prequel?
Technically, D4 is not a prequel to D3 since the characters and storylines are different. However, the essential concept is the same, Dil Dosti and Dance. The only difference is that it's more dangerous now.
Another thing I was worried about was Mikhail and Niharika's storyline. (Pardon me, I don't like the name Baby). Will it be as unique as SwaRon and KriYansh's? I didn't want it to be the regular "bad boy-good girl story." I am so grateful that neither Mikhail nor Baby show any traits of Rey, Kriya, Swayam or Sharon. That's a huge relief.
The one thing I'm thankful about is, it didn't start with the two leads hating each other, we've had too many of those.
I have never ever seen or heard of Niyati Fatnani before but I've loved Utkarsh Gupta as Dhruv in Kaisi Yeh Yaarian. My main concern was whether he'd be able to fit into the role of Mikhail, who is a bit serious, reserved and detached, in contrast to Dhruv who was friendly and sweet.
Kudos, Utkarsh! You make it seem effortless.
Well done to Niyati as well for playing a good girl, yet not a helpless bechaari. Thank you for that CVs. The Mikhail-Nethra story is good too.
So far, so good. I'm really enjoying the show.
Hope to see how the story unfolds further.
Do let me know your views on the show so far.
I am sorry for mentioning D3 here.
Good going, NiKarsh as MiHar!!đ
