How hard is it for outsiders to survive in this industry?

Isn't it unfair if you see an outsider seriously goes through a lot as compared to star kids.and its so easy for the industry to kick out an outsider if and when they want even if the outsider is right.😲

Its really tough to survive.

Not tough since 2 of the hugest stars (srk & akshay) are outsiders . An a 3rd PC made it to Hollywood . So there no more room for whining and excuses 😆😆

Ok if SRK , Akshay , Deepika , PC did it then I don't see why John or Jane doe can't do it unless they lack that something special .

For every SRK and Akshay there is an Aamir, Salman, Ajay, Sunjay, Hrithik, Vivek, Abhishek. Not to mention the ones who entered and didn't make it a la Ayub Khan or Sunjay Kapoor. Even today we have Sid and Sushant and then Varun, Arjun, Tiger, Ranbir, Ranveer, Shahid, etc. It is basically accepted and understood that even getting your foot in the door is extremely hard so yes it is an unfair world to outsiders. SRK and Akshay are exceptions.

for every srk there are millions who don't even get a chance, let alone to succeed.

akki himself said that 70% is just pure luck. He said there are much better actors who are also better looking then him and they don't even get a chance to showcase their talent. they roam around outside studios but nothing happens.

Also I don't think Priyanka is a fair example. As a winner of Miss World half of her networking was done the minute she was crowned. I'm not trying to take anything away from what she's achieved, but I think Kangana and Vidya would be better examples of making it as outsiders.

Priyanka won a pageant in 2000 but so did Lara and Diya... Look how much further she made it than them. That's PC's had work, determination and talent! I don't understand how winning Miss World makes her any less of an outsider. She has no connection with industry. Winning Miss World out of 100s of people is no joke either. even after winning Miss World did Priyanka have a dream launch like Deepika or Vidya? Nope. PC struggled a lot and she survived against all the odds for so many years and now making a name for herself in Hollywood too.

Ps. Before Priyanka become Miss World she was going to debut with Humraaz. Even shot for a couple days but as soon as she was crowned Miss World she had to do Miss World duties for a year so was forced to give up Humraaz and the role went to Amisha Patel.

pageant winners are outsiders... They're expendable, they're not so and so's daughter or relative that they get special privileges or multiple chances. They can easily be replaced.

i dont get this insider/outsiders logic..if they are talented, audience will accept them with open arms no matter he is insider of outsider...DUH
