Kahaani, Raavan, Lootera, Byomkesh Bakshy, Udaan, Highway, Barfi are the ones I remember atm. They are so stunning.

And almost all of Mani Ratnam movies have breathtaking cinematography. ❤️

Roja - The first movie which I absolutely loved the cinematography. Beautifully shot. This was in 90s but Santosh Sivan truly did an awesome job.He is a genius - Bas.

Yes! Santosh Sivan is undoubtedly amazing. Him and PC Sreeram are the only cinematographers whom I have known by names for many years. 😳

Great thread. I love cinematography, it is an art-form in its own. The joy of seeing something shot beautifully on the big screen is just something else.

Hence its a must requirement for me in a movie if it wants to claim greatness.

From the movies I have seen; these are the ones that have stood-out the most. Some great camera-work;

Talaash, Haider, Dhobi Ghat , Lootera, Ship of Theseus, Detective Byomkesh Bakshy! and Bombay Velvet.
