Randhir looked at her with shock. She sat up on the bed, with tears in her eyes and Randhir sat up too, placing a hand on her shoulder. She hugged him tightly, and Randhir hugged her back, wondering whether she remembered something.

"Why are you asking?" he asked her softly.

"I - I had a dream... it felt so real... it was so beautiful," she whispered to him.

"What happened in the dream?" he asked.

"You and me... and Parth... there was a bet," she whispered, then her eyes widened and she pushed him away. "Nevermind!"

Why was she telling him all this? Maybe it was just a dream and she was looking too deeply into it for no reason. It would just be one more thing for an MCP like him to hold against her.

"A bet?" he asked her softly.

"Nothing!" she replied. "It was actually a nightmare. You were kissing me."

Randhir smiled - it seemed to him like she remembered their first kiss.

"How was the kiss?" he asked her.

"Disgusting," she replied.

"Oh yeah?" he asked her, with a smirk.

Then Raghav started to cry and Sanyukta got up to take care of him, avoiding Randhir's flirty comments - she didn't know what was happening, but that one dream felt so real... it couldn't have just been a dream, could it?

Randhir just fell back on the bed and went back to sleep, giving her the space that she needed to think about her feelings.

He knew that she was being drawn to him, and whether she remembered it or not, he would get her love back. For now, he was just enjoying the journey of watching her fall for him... that in itself was a blessing.
205
The next morning, Randhir was at work and Somya at school, when Sanyukta was sitting at home, playing with Raghav in the living room, all the while, wondering about the dream she had last night.

The doorbell then rang and Sanyukta went to open the door, holding Raghav in her arms.

To her surprise, it was Parth. Wasn't he supposed to meet Randhir in his office today like Randhir asked him to? Why did he come here? Shouldn't he know that she was home alone?

"Hi Parth," Sanyukta said awkwardly.

"Hi," he replied, and then glanced inside.

"Come in," she said, and allowed him in.

Parth sat down on a sofa and Sanyukta politely asked him, "Do you want anything to drink?"

"No," he replied, "I just wanted to see you."

"Okay," she replied, sounding confused.

She sat next to him, holding baby Raghav in her arms.

"He looks just like you," Parth said to her and Sanyukta smiled brightly.

"Does he?" she asked him. "I think he looks like Randhir."

"I actually came to speak about Randhir," Parth said, and Sanyukta looked up at him with a frown.

"Why?" she asked, wondering why he would want to speak to her about Randhir.

"Well... you don't remember anything so I thought it is best that I tell you what happened," Parth then told her. "Randhir's hiding it from you."

"What happened?" she asked him, frowning.

"Sanyukta, Randhir must have told you that he married you for revenge," Parth said, and Sanyukta nodded. "The truth is that he couldn't see you happy. We were in love."

Sanyukta's eyes widened and she gasped loudly.

What was Parth saying?

"Wait you mean, me and you?" Sanyukta asked with disbelief.

Parth looked upset and nodded.

"We were very in love, ever since our college days, but Randhir couldn't stand it. So he married you to make you miserable," Parth replied. "The truth is... through your marriage with Randhir, you never stopped thinking of me. I was apologizing for hurting you because I wasn't able to save you from this loveless marriage. Randhir only ever hurt you, he always only made you cry."

If Raghav was not in her arms right now, she thought that she might throw something out of anger.

"How could I love you?" was all she said, with disbelief.

Suddenly, she felt like crying - what was happening? Here she was confused about her feelings for Randhir, and now another guy - her husband's best friend, showed up at her doorstep claiming that she loved him? Her dream yesterday showed her that she loved Randhir, and her heart only beat faster when Randhir came close to her... so how did Parth fit into all of this?

"Please leave," she then said, as she looked up at him tearfully.

"But Sanyukta -" Parth stated, but she cut him off.

"Get out," she told him angrily.

He nodded and walked to the door.

"Think about it once more Sanyukta... don't let your lack of memories come in between who you have loved this whole while," he told her, and she sniffled, having a hard time dealing with the bomb that had just blasted in her life.

206
Parth had genuinely been sorry when he went to ask for Sanyukta's forgiveness yesterday, but something changed between the time he met Randhir in his office, and the time he met Sanyukta that day.

Randhir had nicely explained to him that Sanyukta was suffering memory loss, so it was better to not remind her of the past. Randhir told him that the past was the past, and both he and Sanyukta had forgiven it, but he had to stay in his limits... all he knew was that this memory loss was perhaps another chance for him.

So he went to see Sanyukta, to tell her lies, to see if this second chance was really meant for him. If she came to him, then fine... but if despite all this, she decided to stay with Randhir, then he wouldn't meddle anymore. It was just so hard to control himself, when all of this looked so bright for him.

As he was leaving outside Shekhawat mansion, he saw a car pull in, and inside the car was Vidhushi.

"What the hell?" she asked, as she pulled in. "Where did you come from?"

She had come to visit Sanyukta and was met with the biggest surprise when she saw Parth here. She was trying to hold back the feelings that were threatening to come out - she was a married woman now.

"Vidhushi?" Parth asked incredulously.

"Why are you here?" she asked him, immediately suspicious.

"None of your business," he replied right away.

"Don't create anymore trouble in her life please," Vidhushi begged Parth.

"I'm not, chill. I just came to say hi," Parth replied, and then started to walk away.

With a sinking feeling in her heart as he walked away, she knew what she had to do.

She dialed Randhir's number right away.

"Parth was at your house, he was speaking to Sanyukta... I don't know what he talked to her about, but I don't have a good feeling," she informed him. "As for now, I'm going to handle Parth."

She then hung up the phone and ran after him. She had come here to visit Sanyukta, but it looked like she was meant to visit someone else today. She had to give someone else a dose of her medicine.

207
Randhir drove home right away when he got Vidhushi's phone call. He did not trust Parth one bit. It was only after he got Vidhushi's phone call that it finally made sense to him that someone like Parth might try to take advantage of Sanyukta's memory loss.

As soon as he entered the house, he ran to their bedroom and saw that Sanyukta was sitting on the bed, in deep thought. Raghav was sleeping in his crib.

Randhir sat next to her on the bed and she looked up at him with tears in her eyes. Without him even saying a word to her, she wrapped her arms around him tightly and rested her head on his chest.

When she did this, it felt like all her stress and worry vanished. She felt like she could think clearly. He held her to him lovingly, and she listened to his heartbeats.

Why did what Parth say matter to her? Even if she loved Parth, why did it matter now? She didn't feel this when she was with Parth... she didn't feel this weak feeling in her knees, these butterflies in her stomach, the erratic beating of her heart.

She felt it with Randhir.

Randhir hadn't once made her cry. He hadn't once hurt her so much that she hated her life. At least, not in the memories she had with him. So why should she believe Parth's words. In the last two months, surely she would have felt miserable if he actually wanted her life to be that way... but not once did she feel so suffocated that she wanted to die.

"I'm sorry," she cried, tears falling down her cheeks. "I doubted you for a moment. I'm sorry."

Randhir smiled and rubbed her back soothingly.

"You doubted me?" he asked her.

"I thought... nevermind," she whispered, and then broke the hug, wiping her tears.

She still couldn't admit that she thought of him so fondly.

Then she burst into tears again.

"Come here," Randhir murmured, "I have something to tell you."

She glanced up at him expectantly, trying to control her sobs.

"What?" she hiccuped.

Randhir sighed and used his arms to pick her up from her spot on the bed and drag her to his lap. Her eyes widened immediately.

"What are you doing?" she gasped, forgetting completely that she had just been crying a moment ago.

"I want you to know something. The world will tell you a million different things... don't listen to anyone. Don't even listen to me," he told her softly. "Listen to your heart. Only your heart will tell you what's real and what is a lie."

She looked into his eyes and fresh tears filled her eyes. With shaking hands, she cupped his cheeks.

"I... I don't know why, but I want to... I want to..." she started, and gulped.

"What?" he asked her, glancing down at her lips, like he knew what she was talking about.

She nervously licked her lips.

"I - I want to... I want to k - k -" she started, but before she could finish what she was saying, he had leaned forward slightly, so his lips were just an inch away from hers.

"You can," he whispered. "If you want to."

She closed her eyes, her heart fluttering... it seemed to her, like he would never initiate this, and right now, she was drawn to him so strongly, that she couldn't help it.

Then she gathered the strength to lean closer to him in order to close the gap between their mouths.

208
Her heart was probably about to explode in her chest as she leaned forward. She didn't know what she was doing, but it was like all logic and reasoning left her at this point. Randhir asked her to listen to her heart, and the way he spoke to her, perhaps made her fall for him, but now upon listening to her heart, she knew this was what was right.

So she closed the gap between their mouths.

As their lips brushed over each others softly, she felt one of his hands slide into her hair, stroking the back of her head, and his other hand rested on her lower back. Her hands were still on his cheeks, shaking, as she kissed him.

His lips were so soft - it was like she could do this all day. They were comforting, they were loving, they were even... homely in a sense. As he kissed her back, she felt self-conscious - as far as she remembered, she had never kissed a boy before, so she didn't even know if she was doing this right.

"You're amazing," he murmured against her lips, and that comment made her stomach perform somersaults.

She was amazing?

Was he referring to how she was kissing him? Because she was hardly moving her lips in fear of doing something wrong. Still, that comment made her loosen up to the point where she didn't feel like a stiff board anymore.

He pressed his lips against hers with more force and she went weak... what was it that he was doing to her? Why did this feel so good? She tried to kiss him back the way he was kissing her, but then shied up again. No... she couldn't be a good kisser... not unless she remembered how to kiss.

Randhir broke the kiss - or rather, the touch of their lips, and looked into her eyes, caressing her cheek.

"You don't need to worry about anything," he told her softly. "Kisses are in flesh memory. It's like driving - I know you haven't forgotten how to do that. The technique is already in your subconscious... so be free."

"F - free?" she whispered back to him, her cheeks burning. "Was... was that right though? Should we not have kissed?"

"Why not?" he asked her seriously. "Or rather, let me ask you, why did you kiss me?"

"I don't know," she admitted. "I just wanted to."

"Then it was right," he said with a smile. "You listened to your heart, that's all."

"Can - can we try again?" she asked him nervously, her heart fluttering again.

209
Randhir smiled at the way she asked him so innocently - it was sweet of her. He had been waiting for months for the day to come where he could place his lips on hers again, and now that it was finally here, everything was so different.

Just before she had Raghav, she would jump on him even while he was sleeping, and do more than kiss him senselessly. She would not ask him, but would use him as a tool to satisfy her hormones whether he initiated it or not. He never complained, because that in itself had been sexy for him... now she was a shy girl, who was discovering her feelings for him.

"You don't have to ask," he replied.

"What if you're not in the mood?" she asked with a pout. "You always say you aren't in the mood."

"I'm always in the mood if you understand that it is what your heart is telling you to do," he whispered, stroking her cheek lovingly.

"Oh," she said, blushing, and then, with her hands still on his cheeks, she kissed his forehead. "By the way, why did you come home from work so early?"

"I wanted to see you," he whispered, taking one of her hands in his.

He brought it to his lips and kissed the back of it softly.

She took a deep breath and removed her hand from his grip before cupping his cheeks again and pressing her lips against his once more.

This time, she did it with such force that he fell backwards on the bed and she fell on top of him.

He held her down against his body as she kissed him with such intensity, that his breaths were actually taken away. He kissed her back, trying to slow her down.

She broke the kiss quickly and looked at him with a question in her eyes.

"Can I use tongue?" she then asked him, her face red.

Randhir thought he would have a heart attack when she asked that. She had gotten so bold in the last few minutes, and she was practically asking him to make out. While he didn't mind it, he didn't know if it was good for his physical well-being.

210
"No!" he finally said after the shock of her question wore off, and rolled them over on the bed so he was on top and in control. He leaned into her ear and whispered, "That's enough."

She blushed from under him and placed her hands on his chest. He kissed her cheek lovingly and then got up off the bed.

He was about to head to the door, to walk out of the room, when he felt her arms wrap around him from behind and her face press against his back. Surprised, he turned around and hugged her properly. She rested her head against his chest.

"When can we do this next?" she asked him and Randhir smiled, it was like they had to book a special appointment to do this.

He broke the embrace and gently pecked her on the lips, causing her to blush again.

"Whenever you want," he told her, cupping her face lovingly.

"Now then," she demanded and Randhir smirked.

"You're lucky I'm going easy on you right now," he teased, "You would pass out if you saw what I could do to you."

She turned a deeper shade of red.

"I would not," she replied, looking down shyly.

"I have to pick up Somya now," he told her and then pulled her into an embrace again.

He buried his face in her neck and started to plant soft kisses there. She gasped.

"Randhir," she whispered, half-moaning.

Now she was feeling sensations in other places of her body... perhaps in places she shouldn't be thinking about. Oh no... this had to be how they came out with two kids.

Still, she was too lost to push him off.

He removed his face from her neck and kissed her cheek again.

"I'll come back after picking up Somya from school," he told her. "At night we can spend some time... exploring."

She blushed again when he said that and licked her dry lips. Randhir tried to ignore the sight of her licking her lips but it was difficult.

"Don't test me," he whispered into her ear.

"What - what did I do?" she stammered.

"Be good," he told her seductively. "You don't know what I can do to you yet."

Then with that, and a final smirk, he let her go and walked out of the room. Once he went, Sanyukta fell on top of the bed and buried her face in her hands, still blushing.

What was he doing to her body?

211
Somya ran inside the house after her father picked her up from school. Sanyukta was waiting for her inside the dining room where food was already served. It was Somya's favourite shahi paneer.

"I love you mommy!" Somya exclaimed as soon as she saw what was on the table. "Yay!"

Randhir followed her into the dining room and smiled before saying, "I love you as well. "

Sanyukta blushed and looked down - of course he didn't mean that, did he? How could he? He was just teasing her as always.

"I love you too sweetheart," Sanyukta said to Somya and sat down next to her. "How was school today?"

"Good. But mommy why do you look so shy?" she asked, noticing how her mommy wasn't even looking at her daddy properly.

Randhir sat across from them and smiled admiring her shyness. He found her very adorable.

"I'm not shy," she replied and forced herself to look up. "See?"

Somya giggled.

"Mommy it looks like you're blushing," she replied and then glanced at her father, "You won't even look at daddy properly."

"It - it isn't like that," she replied, sounding embarrassed.

"Somya it seems like your mom has a crush," Randhir then said and Sanyukta's mouth fell open.

How could he just say that in front of their daughter?

"Crush?" Somya asked, her eyes wide. "On who?"

"Yes I would like to know too," Randhir replied playfully. "Tell us dear."

"But daddy it has to be you... who else can she crush on? She's your wife," Somya said, rolling her eyes.

"Is it me dear?" Randhir asked Sanyukta playfully.

"Who - who said I had a crush?" she responded, finally mustering up the courage.

"Whatever. But please don't start kissing with your door unlocked like last time. It was gross," Somya said and Sanyukta's eyes widened when Somya said that.

They kissed with their door unlocked and Somya witnessed that? They had been that out of control?

212
Sanyukta and Randhir both kept quiet for the rest of dinner, until Somya finished eating and declared she was going to do her homework.

Sanyukta took Somya's plate along with hers and Randhir's to the kitchen, to put them in the dishwasher.

It was only when she felt a strong pair of arms wrap around her waist from behind and his breath on her ear, that she realized Randhir had followed her.

"You know, one thing we never did was have a steamy time in the kitchen," he murmured into her ear, and her heartrate shot up.

"W - what?" she gasped, envisioning them making out in the kitchen with her on top of the counter.

"It was one of your fantasies," he whispered and she turned a deep red.

Of course, the thought of making love in the kitchen was incredibly hot, but right now she hadn't even mastered basic kissing... and here he was already talking about having a steamy time in the kitchen? What was wrong with him?

She turned around to face him and said, "I'm not interested in you."

Randhir chuckled as he watched her go back in her denial mode.

"We'll see how much interest you don't have tonight," he said with a wink, and then kissed her cheek quickly before turning around and leaving.

She couldn't believe the crazy things he was doing to her right now... the weird sensations she was feeling on her body were foreign to her. On top of that, the random yet incredibly sexy things he kept whispering in her ear made her want to do things to him that she did not even know how to do! How could that even be possible?

No... no way. She had to keep her hormones in check, otherwise the MCP would think of her as too easy. She wasn't going to be easy for a guy like him.

213
That night, Sanyuka nervously waited for Randhir in her room. She made sure to put Raghav to sleep earlier, but she wasn't able to put to rest the butterflies in her stomach. Just the thought of kissing him again made her whole body shiver with excitement.

Sanyukta had even found a red satin nightgown that fell to her knees amongst her clothes. She wore it and was nervous - the gown revealed more leg than she had worn in front of him. On top of that, she had combed her hair nicely and even had applied some light makeup. Then she had the question of what possessed her to want to look good for him? Why did she want him to find her attractive? Why was it that a part of her wanted him to look at her through lustful eyes?

She shook the thought from her head and sat on the bed, nervously, waiting for him to enter after putting Somya to sleep.

Randhir finally entered the room and once he saw her, his eyes lit up. Without saying a word though, he grabbed his t-shirt and sweatpants from the wardrobe and disappeared into the bathroom.

Sanyukta frowned. She was looking hot here, and he couldn't even acknowledge her presence? What was wrong with him?

Yawning, Randhir came out of the bathroom and got in bed.

"Turn off the light when you're ready to sleep," he murmured, and turned his back to her. "Good night."

Sanyukta's mouth fell open - here she dressed up for him, put Raghav to sleep early for him, and was waiting for him, but he didn't give her any attention?

For some reason it hurt... but more than that it made her angry. She wanted his attention, and Sanyukta was not the type of girl to lose determination. She would get what she wanted, by hook or by crook.

214
What was his problem? He was the one who was going on about tonight earlier, and now she was ready, he was the one who seemed to have forgotten? How could he just forget? And why was it hurting her so much? She shouldn't care if he didn't desire her, or if he forgot about her... why should she be remembered? It wasn't like she was in love with him or anything.

"You're sleeping?" she then asked sadly.

Randhir opened his eyes and turned around to face her. She looked upset, and he felt guilty - he didn't want her to feel insecure or hurt. He just wanted to have her admit to him that she wanted him. That was all.

"You don't want me to sleep?" he asked her softly.

"N - no! I don't care," she denied.

"Okay then," he said simply, and then was about to turn around to close his eyes again, when Sanyukta grabbed his shirt to stop him.

"Don't," she whispered. "Please?"

Then she laid down on the bed and rested her head on his chest.

"Why?" he asked her. "Why don't you want me to sleep?"

She reached down to the bottom of his shirt and slipped one of her hands inside, causing him to shiver.

"What are you doing?" he asked her.

"I just want to touch you," she told him innocently, but that innocent statement sent so many dirty thoughts to his mind.

"Touch me?" he asked, somehow unable to control himself from repeating it out loud.

Finally understanding the sexual conundrum she had made, she blushed and said, "Ew! Not in that way."

Randhir smiled and stroked her hair lovingly as she moved her hand up his chest.

"Actually... maybe..." she said, and then looked up at him with longing eyes.

"What?" he asked immediately. "You want to -"

"No! I mean... yes! I mean no! I don't know... maybe," she then said, and then buried her face in his shirt, trying to hide her embarrassment.

Why was this happening to her?

215
Randhir continued to stroke her hair as she hid her face in his shirt, trying to cover up her embarrassment of half-admitting that she wanted to touch him.

"Why do I feel this way?" she asked, her words muffling into his shirt.

"What way?" he asked her softly.

"Like... I want to get closer," she whispered. "Like I want to feel every part of you, touch you everywhere, and k - k - kiss you everywhere."

"Easy there," he told her, chuckling, "Baby steps first farzi."

"Hey," she said, irritated, and lifted her head from his chest as she glared at him. "Stop calling me farzi!"

Randhir rolled them over on the bed so that she was trapped under him.

"Do you remember when I was doing pushups?" he asked her.

She gulped and nodded, his close proximity making her shiver.

"You don't know how badly I wanted to make love to you right there," he admitted in a husky tone, then he leaned into her ear and whispered, "I wanted to f**k you."

Her eyes widened when he said it like that. Randhir smiled. For him, it was always making love, but in the situation Sanyukta was in, her lust for him would intensify if she heard it being said like that... and that was what he wanted. He wanted her lust to intensify so much, until she finally used that to understand her love.

She turned red, and pressed her thighs together, her whole body aching now. She wanted him really badly.

"I know you want to touch me everywhere," Randhir then whispered with a smirk, "But let's start off simple okay? Let me touch you first."

He wanted to touch her? Oh... her body was aching to be touched by him, but she was scared.

"W - why?" she asked, trying to regain her composure. "Why can't I touch you?"

"You'll pass out, out of embarrassment," he pointed out with a smirk. "But don't worry, I'm not going to touch you today. Today, we start off even smaller."

"Smaller?" she gasped.

"Would you like a kiss Sanyukta?" he asked her softly, looking into her eyes.

She gulped and nodded, glancing down at his lips longingly.

216
Randhir brushed his lips over her earlobe and whispered, "If you kiss me, then you can get what you want... you have to initiate it."

At this point, she didn't care who started it anymore... she just wanted to senselessly kiss him. Her arms wrapped around him and pulled him down on her. Randhir didn't protest, he just let his body fall on top of hers, and his lips met hers in a passionate kiss.

It was the deepest kiss she had given him today, and she wasn't stopping for anything. He had pushed her over to the edge and now she was craving him more than anything.

Her hands cupped his cheeks and with every movement of her lips, his lips matched hers. Without even realizing what she was doing, she slipped her tongue into his mouth, tasting him more and more.

Perhaps this was what Randhir meant by flesh memory. She didn't have a problem trying to figure out how to kiss him anymore... it was almost like this art was embedded in her subconscious mind.

As he kissed her back passionately, he pressed his body further against hers. It was only when she felt it, that she broke the kiss and looked at him with wide eyes.

"What is that?" she gasped, feeling the hardness on her thigh.

Randhir didn't reply - instead he started to plant wet kisses on her jaw, and then moved his lips down her neck. She bit down on her lip so she wouldn't moan.

As he sucked on the nape of her neck, she pressed her legs even more tightly together. It wasn't helping. So she tried to adjust her body from under him so his hardness was aligned with her soft spot.

"What are you doing?" he gasped, knowing that he was going to go crazy if she was about to do what he thought.

"I don't know," she murmured, feeling high.

Then she pushed him off her, and he fell backwards on the bed. She climbed on top of him and sat up on his crotch, causing him to shudder, before she smacked her lips against his. As she rubbed herself against him, he grabbed her hair and tried to pull her off. Sanyukta, who found this extremely sexy, just pressed herself further against him.

"Let's take our clothes off," she told him longingly after breaking the kiss.

She really felt intoxicated right now.

She was surely going to kill him - she boldly suggested that they removed their clothes, but Randhir knew that if they did that, there would be no controlling themselves. So he just pressed his lips against hers again, silencing her.

As she kissed him back fiercely, she reached under his shirt again.

Randhir grabbed her arms and pushed her down on the bed, so he was on top of her, pinning her arms down on the bed.

"Hey," she said, but he pressed his lips against hers to prevent her from uttering another word.

After he finally broke the kiss, he released her arms and took his shirt off.

"That's all that's coming off," he told her, dropping it on the ground beside the bed.

She looked down at his toned body and touched it softly, a smile on her lips.

"You lie down," she ordered.

"What?" he asked her, "No!"

He knew what she would do if he did, but she pushed him hard, and he was caught off guard, so he fell back on the bed. She climbed over him again and started to kiss his neck.

"Sanyukta," he groaned. "Don't do this... I won't be able to control myself."

She ignored him and kissed her way down to his chest, before she flicked her tongue across his nipples.

"Shit," he groaned and Sanyukta smirked.

So the MCP was in the mood after all.

She didn't know how she got so much confidence all of a sudden... but as usual, the first step was always the hardest. After the initial leap of faith, it seemed to have gotten easier.

She kissed down to his stomach and Randhir grabbed her head, trying to stop her, but she didn't stop. Finally, her mouth moved down his navel to the top of sweatpants.

"Get off!" he ordered, but she didn't listen to him.

He felt like he was going to go insane with the way her mouth was going closer and closer to her destination.

She pressed her lips on top of his pants where she felt the hardness and he squeezed his eyes shut.

"Please," he begged. "Please stop now."

Sanyukta blushed and got off him, feeling shy again. Finally, when he felt that she had spared him, he opened his eyes and breathed a sigh of relief.

"Come here," he said, and she crawled up his body again, before resting on top of his chest, listening to his quick heartbeats.

"I don't want to stop," she told him. .

He caressed her hair lovingly - how could he tell her that he didn't want to stop either, but before they went all the way, he wanted her to admit that she loved him?
218
Note: There's some foreplay but no sex scene. It could make you feel uncomfortable - read at your own discretion.

Randhir didn't reply to her... instead he just closed his eyes, trying to calm his own raging hormones. Sanyukta really didn't want to stop, although going further made her feel shy. She was resting with her head on his bare chest, and just that thought made her whole body fill with a new wave of desire.

"Randhir," she whined, but he didn't respond to her. "Randhiiir."

"What?" he finally asked, opening his eyes.

"If we had sex before, we can do it again right?" she asked him. "I mean there's nothing morally wrong with that... plus we're married... right?"

Randhir just continued to stroke her hair.

"We aren't having sex," he replied. "Go to sleep."

"But I'm turned on!" she complained. "This isn't fair! At least do something about this!"

"Why do I have to?" he asked her, and she got off him angrily.

"What do you mean? Who else will?" she snapped, lying down on the bed next to him.

"You can help yourself," he answered and then smirked. "Can't you?"

Sanyukta turned red when he said that - of course she could. It probably wasn't even a bad idea considering how turned on she was right now.

"But if I have a husband why should I depend on myself for that?" she asked him.

"You want me to help you?" he finally asked her, with a playful glint in his eyes.

"Yes," she replied, and then blushed again.

Randhir turned around to face her before placing his hand on her knee. He slipped it between her thighs and she bit down on her lip. She was nervous, but so turned on.

Leaning into her ear, he whispered, "Turn around... face the wall."

She nodded shyly and turned away from him. In a way, this was good, because she didn't have to look at him with embarrassment. Randhir pressed his body against her back as he moved his fingers further upwards.

"Are you sure?" he then asked, lifting his head so he could press his lips against her ear.

"Yes," she whispered.

As he rubbed the wetness from over her panties, she trembled against his body.

"What are you going to do once I get under?" he asked her softly.

She blushed and he slipped his fingers under her panties, causing her to moan softly.

"Don't hold it back," he whispered in her ear. "It sounds sexy."

He softly stroked her nub and she moaned again. Him doing this to her was so sexy... even if she did it to herself, there was no way it would feel this hot.

Randhir slipped his middle finger deep into her folds, causing her to gasp. That felt so good. He then slid his index finger into her too and her breathing got exponentially faster.

"F - f**k," she whispered, and Randhir started to suck on her ear.

"You sound sexy when you swear like that," he murmured.

"I - I don't swear!" she denied, as he started to thrust his fingers in and out of her, and used his thumb to rub the outside. "It was just... in the - the moment."

"Can I stop now?" he teased.

"No!" she gasped. "Keep going!"

Randhir smiled and continued what he was doing. He brought his lips to her neck now, licking the supple skin there as he continued to please her. Finally, she broke out into a sweat and her toes curled as she had an orgasm. She struggled to take deep breaths after that happened, her face flushed.

"Wow," she gasped, "I've never felt that before."

"You have many times," he told her, removing his fingers from her body, "You just don't remember."

Then he brought his fingers to his lips and sucked on them so he could taste her.

Sanyukta's eyes widened as she witnessed this.

"What? You taste the best after you have an orgasm," he told her defensively.

Sanyukta just blushed out of embarrassment.

219
It was embarrassing when he talked about her taste like that, but strangely she found it kind of hot. She couldn't look him in his eyes though as he licked his fingers, because her embarrassment was greater than anything else right now.

She laid down with her head on his chest and closed her eyes, feeling relaxed in his presence. He hadn't even looked at her, he hadn't even pleased himself, yet he pleasured her. She wondered why he did that. Any man would have gladly had sex with her and satisfied his own desires as well, but he chose to satisfy hers, while keeping his at bay.

"Are you human?" she asked him softly, just as he was about to drift off to sleep.

"Hmm?" he mumbled.

"I mean why didn't you satisfy yourself?" she asked him softly.

"I did," he answered, "By satisfying you, I've satisfied myself."

"What?" she asked, confused.

"I mean I don't care about my physical satisfaction," he answered to her. "It won't make sense to you so go to sleep."

"No tell me," she urged.

Randhir sighed and held her closer to him before kissing the top of her head lovingly.

"I mean when you get satisfied, it automatically satisfies me too. There's no difference between you and me," he told her, and then stroked her hair, causing her to shiver. "I feel satisfaction through you because we're that connected."

Could it be that he really loved her that much?

"Oh," she mumbled.

"Go to sleep," he murmured again.

"Okay," she finally accepted with a defeated sigh.

After all, she had no idea about how he felt for her, and if he continued to speak in his philosophical manner, she may be more confused. Perhaps, one day she would understand what he was saying.

Randhir on the other hand, stroked her hair until she fell asleep in his arms. One day, she would realize the love she already felt for him... and she would find out, that she had it in her all along. It was just that there were many barriers set up against it in her mind right now that prevented the love from shining noticeably.

220
A few hours later, when Raghav started to cry, Sanyukta groggily opened her eyes. She sat up on the bed before getting off and picking up Raghav from the crib. She realized that Raghav needed to be fed, but the problem was that she couldn't just lift up her shirt anymore. She had to lift up her whole dress.

She glanced at Randhir, who looked like he was fast asleep and sat on the bed nervously before lifting up her dress to her chest and covering her lower half with the blanket. As she started to breastfeed the baby, she allowed her dress to fall over Raghav, covering what was happening.

Randhir then stirred in his bed and slowly opened his eyes. As he saw Sanyukta leaning against the bedframe, with her dress over a baby Raghav, he smiled.

"You could have just asked me to leave," he said to her, and she looked at him with wide eyes, almost as if she was surprised that he was awake.

"Go back to sleep," she replied to him, "You have work in the morning."

He sat up on the bed beside her and leaned against the bedframe too. Almost instinctively, she rested her head on his shoulder, as her eyes closed.

"Sanyukta," Randhir whispered and she opened her eyes again.

"Hmm?" she mumbled. "I'm tired."

"Is Raghav done?" he asked her.

"No," she replied.

Randhir kissed her forehead softly, causing her to melt against his shoulder.

When Raghav finally finished, Sanyukta removed him from under her dress and then held him in her arms. He had fallen back asleep. Randhir took Raghav from her and put him in the crib.

By the time Randhir had turned around and got back into bed, Sanyukta had already fallen asleep... she had been really tired.

He stroked her hair lovingly before lying down and falling back asleep himself.

221
The next day, as Randhir got ready for work, Sanyukta was still sleeping soundly. In fact, she was still sleeping when both Somya and he left. He didn't want to wake her up. She was already exhausted.

Sanyukta only woke up when Raghav started crying. After she attended to Raghav, she took him downstairs with her and lay him the couch so she could read a book.

Time flied and soon Somya and Randhir had run back inside.

"Mommy!" Somya exclaimed and upon seeing that she was next to Raghav, she scrunched her nose.

Randhir entered the living room too and then stroked Raghav's head softly.

"You don't do that to me!" Somya pointed out with irritation.

Then Somya went and sat on Sanyukta's lap, causing her book to fall out of her hands. Sanyukta smiled and held Somya to her as Randhir picked up Raghav and sat next to her.

Sanyukta kissed Somya's cheek.

"How was school today sweetheart?" she asked her.

"Good," she replied, still clearly irritated.

Raghav smiled up at Randhir and he grinned.

"Look Raghav's smiling," he said, and Somya glared.

"That's all he can do! He just drinks milk, sleeps, poops," she huffed. "Such a waste!"

"Hey, you were like him once too," Randhir told her and she huffed.

"I'm hungry!" she demanded, and then got up and ran off to the kitchen.

Sanyukta ran after her and Randhir sighed, still holding the baby in his arms.

222
That evening, when Sanyukta got in bed, Randhir entered the room and locked the door. Upon seeing that she was already under her covers, he asked, "Too tired today?"

She blushed and didn't say a word. Randhir just chuckled and took out his pants from the wardrobe before disappearing into the bathroom. When he came out with no shirt on, her eyes widened.

"Do you want me to wear a shirt?" he asked her and she looked down shyly.

No she didn't. But admitting that made her feel shy.

Randhir just got in bed next to her and kissed her cheek softly.

"Good night," he whispered to her.

He was so close to her... she could just close the gap between their lips and kiss him. Those lips looked so perfect.

"Randhir," she finally whispered.

"Mhmm," he murmured, his lips really close to hers.

He placed one hand on her tummy and she shivered involuntarily. He bent down and kissed the corner of her lip this time.

She was left speechless again, but he was not giving her what she wanted.

"What is it that you want?" he whispered huskily and she glanced down at his lips again.

Her hands touched his abs softly.

"Don't tease me," she finally said.

"I'm teasing you?" he asked her with surprise. "You know the reason I am so close to you right now is so you can get what you want."

She pouted her lips, and as she did that, it seemed like he had lost control over himself. He kissed her lips softly. She smiled against his lips and kissed him back.

"Stop being so sexy," he murmured against her lips and her breath caught in her throat.

This time she blushed harder than ever.

223
He kissed her more deeply, sliding his tongue into her mouth, and she trembled from under him. Her whole body ached with desire again - why was it that she wanted him so badly?

Her arms wrapped around his bare back, pulling him down on her with intensity, trying to feel him more and more.

Randhir whispered, "Tomorrow after I drop Somya at school, I'll come right back. We'll give the maids and servants the day off."

Sanyukta blushed - just for her, he wanted to miss work?

"What are you planning to do?" she asked him, her lips still on his.

He sucked on her lower lip.

"Something like this," he murmured, using his tongue to now trace her lips.

Sanyukta dug her nails into his back.

"All day?" she whispered.

"All day and all night," he told her lovingly.

Then he removed his lips from hers and started to plant kisses on her neck.

"I can't believe this," she whispered as he sucked on the base of her neck.

"Really?" he asked her, removing his mouth from her skin and bringing his lips to her ear. "Why not?"

"I don't know... this is so weird. You're an MCP and we're making out," she told him. "I never thought in my whole life that I would do something like this with an MCP."

"MCP?" he asked, raising his eyebrows with a glint in his eyes. "You've been making out with an MCP?"

"Obviously, who else have I been making out with?" she asked him, rolling her eyes.

"I'll show you what making out with an MCP feels like," he then murmured into her ear, and placed his hand on her leg, underneath her dress.

Her breath caught in her throat.

"W - what?" she gasped.

"Nevermind, I don't feel like showing you... you won't be able to handle it," he told her with a smirk.

"Jerk," she muttered under her breath.

"You want me to show you?" he then asked playfully.

"N - no! I mean... I don't know," she mumbled.

Randhir chuckled and kissed her on the cheek as his hands slid further and further up her thighs.

She turned red and turned around to bury her face in his chest.

"Don't do this," she moaned, as she felt his hands reach his destination.

She kissed his chest softly and pressed herself against him.

Just then Raghav started to cry.

224
Randhir let go of her, groaning as Raghav started to cry. Sanyukta blushed and got off the bed before tending to Raghav. Randhir lay flat on the bed and picked up a pillow before covering his face with it.

Sanyukta rocked Raghav in her arms. She had just given him milk, so he couldn't have been hungry. She didn't know what the problem was. She brought him to the bed and stroked his forehead lovingly.

"Are you okay?" she asked Raghav softly.

Randhir removed the pillow from his face and looked at her with a strange expression.

"Of course not if he's crying," Randhir replied.

"I'm his mom! I know!" she retorted stubbornly.

Randhir sighed and took Raghav from Sanyukta before kissing his forehead.

"He just wants to be held," Randhir said to Sanyukta and held Raghav to his chest.

"How do you know?" she asked with disbelief.

"I just do," he replied and kissed Raghav's forehead again. "After Somya, I learned a lot about being a parent."

Sanyukta looked at him with a stunned expression - that meant that surely he had taken care of Somya a lot.

"Not fair! I don't remember!" she replied, pouting. "I don't remember how she was!"

Randhir looked at her with a sad smile on his face. Of course she wouldn't remember... even if she had her memory, there would be nothing to remember. Sanyukta and he had separated during the first six years of Somya's life. Sanyukta hadn't even fed Somya once.

"That's why I'm here," he murmured. "You go to sleep. You're still exhausted from last night. I'll watch over him tonight."

"I can take care of my son!" she argued.

"Rest," he said again to her before smirking, "You'll need it for tomorrow."

She blushed and then lay down on the bed, turning away from Randhir, trying to hide herself.

What was he planning to do to her tomorrow? She closed her eyes and took deep breaths, before she finally fell asleep and had a very erotic dream. It was the middle of the night when she woke up, her whole body aching to have him. That dream had taken away her sanity. She noticed Raghav was sleeping soundly in the crib, and Randhir was sleeping soundly on the bed.

She didn't care though.

She climbed on top of him and started to pull his pants down.

225
Randhir's eyes shot open as Sanyukta reached for his pants. He glanced down at her and nearly pinched himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming... was she still asleep or something? He had no idea she could be this wild right now.

"Sanyukta," he gasped as she tried to pull down his pants.

She didn't respond, so he grabbed her arms. He stopped her and turned her around on the bed so she was lying flat.

"Are you okay?" he asked her and she was breathing heavily.

Her eyes darted down to his lips, staring lustfully at them.

"It's your fault," she accused. "You came in my dream and made me want you."

"Dream?" Randhir asked, shocked. "What happened in your dream?"

"We - we were making out," she mumbled, "And then we took our clothes off and you were doing stuff to my body..."

Her voice faded as she turned shy - it was hard to speak about it... now her intoxication from the dream had even worn off.

"What stuff?" he whispered to her seductively.

"Like kissing me and licking things and sucking," she told him, her voice quiet.

Randhir started to suck on her ear, causing her to tremble under him.

"Like this?" he whispered.

Her arms wrapped around his back and she held his body to hers.

"Yes but in other places," she replied.

"Which places?" he asked and she blushed.

"Like... on my body," she mumbled.

He removed his lips from her ear and started to kiss her neck, causing her to melt against the sheets.

"Here?" he asked her softly.

"N - no, other places," she whispered in response, and Randhir's hand slipped under her dress to crawl up her leg.

As he stroked her soft spot over her panties gently he asked her, "here?"

"Yes, but other places too," she whispered, her heart beating erratically, her body craving to have more of him.

Randhir slipped his hand even further up to her stomach, all the while kissing her neck. As his hands brushed over her navel, she licked her lips. This was not good.

"Here?" he asked her seductively.

"Higher up," she whispered.

Then when Randhir was about to move his hand even further up, they were interrupted by Raghav's cries once more.

226
Randhir grumbled as he removed his hand from under her dress and stood up to hold Raghav. Sanyukta blushed and took deep breaths. She also wondered why Raghav couldn't wait another few minutes before crying.

As Randhir picked up Raghav in his arms and brought him to the bed, Sanyukta reached out to take him.

"I think he wants milk," Sanyukta told Randhir.

"He needed milk now?" Randhir asked with slight irritation.

Glancing down at the two month baby, he noticed that he had stopped crying and instead started to smile.

"He thinks this is funny," Randhir groaned.

"Randhir," Sanyukta warned, "Don't say mean things to my baby. He is looking so cute now that he's smiling."

She took Raghav from Randhir and he watched her with a look of admiration.

"You love him a lot don't you?" he asked Sanyukta.

"Obviously," she said, rolling her eyes.

"No, but I noticed that you bond well with him. You seem more comfortable around him than with Somya," Randhir pointed out.

She glanced up at him with a thoughtful expression.

"I guess it's because I don't remember much of Somya's childhood," she admitted. "I know I gave birth to her, but I don't remember anything... I do love her a lot though, and obviously I feel a connection. I just feel awkward around her sometimes because she's so big and I don't remember. I don't even know what to say to her sometimes."

"But you'll be there every step of the way with Raghav," he told her with a smile on his face.

She didn't remember that she left her daughter when she was a newborn, and had missed out on the first six years of her life. Randhir wanted her to fully experience what she missed out on with Somya. He wanted her to experience total motherhood.

"Can you turn around so I can feed him?" she asked him, turning red.

"Why?" he teased.

"Just do it!" she told him and with a smirk, he laid down on the bed and faced away from her.

"Good night Sanyukta. Be careful when you wake me up next time... I won't go easy on you anymore," he said to her lightly and then closed his eyes, as a smile lit up her features.

As she stayed awake with Raghav, she couldn't help but smile thinking of him... she was even finding his flirty antics cute now.

She didn't know what was wrong with her, but surely she had gone insane. Randhir on the other hand was smiling, because it seemed like she trusted him to not look at her. She didn't have any doubts this time that he'd turn around. Without realizing it, she was trusting him already, giving their relationship an important foundation.

The next morning, it was Sanyukta who woke up before Randhir. She had somehow found her way back to him overnight and was sleeping on top of him comfortably. His arm was loosely wrapped around her back.

She smiled when she opened her eyes, excited for what he would do to her today. After all, he had hyped it up so much. For some reason, she was more excited than she knew was healthy.

As soon as she got off him, she stretched her arms, still exhausted, but excited. He was taking the day off for her. They had to make it count.

It was only when she went to the bathroom, that she realized that it was not only Raghav that kept them away from each other, it was like it was a conspiracy by the universe.

She got her period.

Sanyukta groaned.

It wasn't supposed to come so soon - they had told her at the hospital that it could even take upto six months before they started up again.

The first thing she did after getting herself cleaned up, was run to the bed to make sure she hadn't bled over the sheets, or even worse, on Randhir. She had been sleeping on him after all.

Randhir was groggily opening his eyes when she arrived and Sanyukta turned red, noticing the blood that had leaked on the sheets next to him.

"Randhir," Sanyukta said with a wide smile, trying to distract him so he wouldn't see the blood. "Good morning!"

"Good morning," he murmured and sat up on the bed.

As soon as he stretched his arms and was about to get off the bed, Sanyukta fell on top of his lap and turned his face towards her.

"I think you should go and see Somya now," she told him. "You need to wake her up."

"Why don't you go today? You're already up?" he asked her.

"No!" she denied and got off his lap. "I want to sleep - you go."

Randhir stood up, confused. There was something wrong, that was sure. She was behaving strangely.

"What happened?" he asked her.

"Nothing," she lied. "Just go!"

Then she sat down on the bed and was about to inch towards the stain so she could cover it with her body, but Randhir caught it.

Her eyes widened as she followed his gaze to the bloodstain on the bed.

Shit. This was so embarrassing.

228
Her heart was pounding at a rate she didn't even know existed as embarrassment and fear took over her system - what if the MCP didn't like the idea that girls got periods? What if he devalued it? What if he found it disgusting?

As if he knew what she was thinking, he sighed and sat on the bed next to her and held her shoulders.

"Go and wake up Somya. Don't worry about it," he told her.

She didn't know what else to say. She was too nervous to say another word, so she just got up and ran to Somya's room to wake her up.

When she caressed her seven year old daughter's hair, she opened her eyes.

"Mommy?" she asked, shocked that her mom had actually come in to wake her up today.

"Good morning sweetheart," Sanyukta said with a smile.

"Is daddy still asleep?" she asked Sanyukta.

"No. I just wanted to get you ready for school today," she told Somya with a smile.

Somya grinned happily and got out of bed. As she went to take a shower, Sanyukta laid her uniform down on the bed, ironing it for her. Once Somya came out of the bathroom and got dressed, she sat on the bed happily.

Sanyukta started to comb her hair, to make two braids like Somya liked. After she made them, Somya smiled.

"Yay! I get to look nice again!" Somya replied excitedly.

"You always looked nice," Sanyukta told her.

"I mean I get to look nicer," Somya corrected. "I love it when you braid my hair!"

Sanyukta smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

"Let's go down and have breakfast," she told her and Somya nodded.

As soon as she went downstairs with Somya, she noticed that pancakes were already served and were laying on three plates on the table. Randhir was already sitting down on his usual spot.

"Who made these?" Sanyukta asked, shocked.

"I did," he replied, glancing at them.

Somya scrunched her nose.

"Daddy why?" she asked. "You only know how to make toast!"

"At least try it!" Randhir replied impatiently.

Somya took a seat and then took a bite.

"It tastes good," she replied, sounding shocked.

Sanyukta sat next to Somya and took a bite out of her own as well.

"Wow," she replied. "You can cook?"

"I've observed the way you make it," he told her with a smile. "Plus, Google is really helpful these days."

Sanyukta smiled at him. He didn't need to make it, but he did... was it because she was on her period? Wait, did he consider her weak because of that? Suddenly, she felt herself get angry.

He really was an MCP.

229
After they finished eating, Randhir went to his room to get his car keys and wallet in order to drop Somya to school. Sanyukta followed him into the room and locked it angrily.

She glanced at the bed and saw that the sheets were already changed.

What on Earth?

"What's wrong with you?" she asked angrily, and Randhir looked at her with surprise.

"What?" he asked, confused.

"You think I can't do anything? You think I'm weak?" she asked him, and walked up to him before grabbing his shirt and shaking him. "You think just because I'm on my period you can impose your MCP status?"

Randhir took her hands off his shirt and kissed both of them softly.

"Look Sanyukta, you've had so many periods while you were living with me," he told her sternly. "If I didn't do this, you'd get mad."

"Well of course!" she replied angrily. "If you can't even take care of a girl who's on her period, then what kind of man are you?"

Randhir chuckled.

"Now when I do this, you're mad?" he asked her lightly.

"Why do you find this funny?" she snapped.

He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly. She felt herself melt in his embrace.

"I don't find this funny. I find you cute," he whispered in her ear. "By the way, just because you got your period, doesn't mean the plans change today."

Her eyes widened with shock as he held her more tightly against him.

"W - what?" she gasped.

"I'll be back after dropping Somya to school," he told her and then let go of her, before kissing her on the forehead. "See you soon."

Stunned, she watched him leave.

This guy was surreal. She didn't know what to think of him.

230
Sanyukta nervously sat on her bed, as she waited for him to return. By that time, even Raghav woke up. Once she tended to him and he was playing quietly in his crib, Sanyukta went into the bathroom and noticed that the supply of feminine hygiene products was low.

How was she going to go and get them? She didn't want to ask the driver... that was awkward, and she didn't want to leave Raghav home alone, but he was still too young to stand the commotion of the market.

Should she call Randhir?

No way! She couldn't show him that she couldn't do something. She could do it herself.

As she sat on the bed, in deep thought about how to get her feminine hygiene products, her stomach started to hurt.

"Urgh," she complained to herself and laid down on the bed.

A few minutes later, Randhir walked in the room, holding a shopping bag and a hot water pad. She sat up on the bed and looked at him inquisitively.

"I got stuff for you," he told her and sat on the bed next to her.

He held the hot water pad to her stomach and she glanced at him suspiciously - why was he doing this? What was his motive?

"There are pads and stuff in here," he told her. "I'll keep these in the bathroom."

Her mouth fell open - how did he even know she needed them? Did he check? Then she smiled, wondering how he asked for those from the market. Wasn't he embarrassed?

After he came back from the bathroom, he sat next to her and took their remote control from the sidetable before pointing it at the tv which was in front of them.

"What are you doing?" she asked suspiciously as he turned on the tv.

"Playing a movie. I want to watch something," he told her coolly.

"No I mean... why are you here? Couldn't you have gone to work?" she asked him.

"What's your problem?" he asked her, glancing at her now.

"You," she replied, irritated. "You are so confusing! You're supposed to be an MCP but you are doing all of this."

"You're the one who seems to have concluded that I'm an MCP," he told her. "I didn't tell you that I was."

She let her head fall on his shoulder before she pouted.

"I don't want to watch a movie," she told him finally, glancing down at his lips.

She didn't know why she wanted him more now. Randhir hid his smirk - Sanyukta was always so horny when she was on her period.

"What do you want to do then?" he asked her, pretending like he had no idea.

231
"Nothing," she replied, forcing herself to look at the tv, and keeping her head on his shoulder. "I don't want anything."

He kissed the top of her head and she wrapped her arm around his torso. She closed her eyes and snuggled into him. She wanted him... she didn't know why. It was like he could make her cramps go away better than anything else.

As he held her to him, he kissed her forehead and she smiled. Then he leaned further towards her and kissed her cheek, then the corner of her lips and she started to tremble.

He laid her down on the bed and leaned over her before placing his lips on hers and kissing her softly.

"You don't find this disgusting?" she asked him softly.

"Not at all," he replied. "I love every part about you. I told you, we are not separate."

Sanyukta felt her cheeks burn as he pressed his lips more deeply against hers and the butterflies flew in her stomach. He reached down and removed the heating pad from her stomach and instead used his hand to gently massage her there.

As they kissed, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down on top of her.

His tongue found hers and they teased each other slowly. He wanted to help her relax, and it seemed like this was working.

Finally breaking the kiss, he kissed her chin and then rested next to her.

"What are you doing?" she asked him, and brought her head to his chest.

"You're very tired, so am I," he told her softly. "I think we should rest for a bit while Raghav is keeping quiet."

"Okay," she mumbled, already drifting off to sleep.

After all, she had been very exhausted. Handling a baby and these strange feelings for her husband was hard work.

The next week passed like this - with Randhir taking care of Sanyukta, fulfilling her demands, kissing her and loving her. She couldn't help but feel more and more drawn to him. Even when he was not at home, she would often smile thinking of him. She could not stop thinking about him, in fact.

She would imagine situations where they would go beyond making out, and she would blush. Sometimes, she would often wonder whether he really loved her or if he was just tolerating her because she was his wife. She wanted to know what his true feelings were, but she was a bit scared because she didn't want to be rejected. She herself didn't know why rejection was scaring her so much... it wasn't like she really had feelings for him. Or did she? She was confused.

One day, when Randhir was at work and Raghav was sleeping upstairs in his crib, Sanyukta was in the kitchen making dinner with the baby monitor next to her, when the doorbell rang. Bringing the heat on the stove down to minimum, she wiped her hands before opening the door.

To her annoyance, it was Parth again.

"Yes?" she asked, this time not in the mood to be polite.

"Have you thought about it?" he asked her.

She pursed her lips together.

"Of course not. I don't have any feelings like that for you," she told him flatly.

"I can prove it to you," Parth then replied to her. "I didn't think you believed me, so I have proof."

Sanyukta looked at him suspiciously. If she loved Parth, why would she be with Randhir? Why would she have two kids with Randhir? Why would everyone say she was happily married to Randhir? And most importantly, Randhir didn't seem like the type to tie her down to a marriage if she was not happy with it.

He took out his phone and showed her a picture. In the picture she was sleeping, and Parth was shirtless next to her on the bed.

She felt disgusted.

"What nonsense is this?" she snapped.

"It's proof that we were together," Parth replied. "Sanyukta, look I love you a lot, and you love me too. Randhir is separating us. Why don't you believe me? It's so evident."

"That photo is a lie," she snapped. "There is no way... just no!"

Parth sighed.

"Do you even know whose kids you have right now?" he asked her.

Her eyes widened.

"What?" she spat out. "Of course they're Randhir's kids!"

"No, they aren't Randhir's kids," Parth replied and she felt like throwing up all of a sudden.

She placed a hand to her stomach as her head started to hurt. Why was this happening? What was happening? Why was Parth saying all of this? Could it be... no way! How could it be?

"I don't believe you," she replied weakly. "R - Randhir and I have two kids."

"He doesn't even know that the children aren't his or he wouldn't love them so much," Parth replied to her. "So don't bring this up to him... just remember that you love me."

She had been making out with Randhir this whole time, and Parth was here claiming that her kids were his?

Her eyes filled with tears. Why did she hate this? Why did she hate the idea that she ever loved someone who wasn't Randhir? It wasn't like she loved him... so why was she disgusted?

"Please stop," Sanyukta begged. "Randhir loves Somya and Raghav... this can't be true. I would never lie to him like that."

"So much has changed in eight years Sanyukta," Parth went on. "Everyone changes in love."

"Stop!" she screamed. "Just get out!"

"I'll come back another day. But remember, you love me Sanyukta," Parth said, and then turned around to leave.

As soon as she closed the door behind him, she fell back against the door and started to sob uncontrollably. Why was this happening to her?

233
Sanyukta couldn't stop thinking about Parth's words all day. She couldn't remember anything at all, so how could she so confidently say that Parth was lying, especially when he showed her proof? The thought that she would do that to Randhir made her heart hurt. Was she really that bad of a person?

Her eyes were constantly filling with a fresh set of tears. Even when Randhir and Somya came home, she didn't go down. How could she face them? What if Parth was right?

When Randhir came in the room, she was pretending to sleep. She tried to hold back her tears under her closed eyes as he caressed her hair lovingly. Then when he kissed her on the cheek, she felt dirty.

Not because Randhir kissed her... in fact, his kisses had only made her feel clean and pure. But because the picture that Parth showed her only proved that she had a relationship with him too. How could she have relations with two men? How could she lie to Randhir for seven years that someone else's child was his? She didn't think she could ever do that.

Randhir felt the warmth of her cheek. Her cheek was always blazing hot if she was blushing, but if it was simply warm, it meant that she had been crying.

"Sanyukta," he murmured, but she didn't open her eyes.

He knew she wasn't sleeping. He was starting to get worried for her. He sat beside her on the bed and continued to caress her hair, and she continuously tried to hold back her tears.

How could Randhir care for her so much? She was a horrible person.

Sanyukta sniffled involuntarily, and her eyes opened before she lifted her head and rested it on his lap. Then she started to sob uncontrollably.

Why couldn't she stand the idea that she had someone else's children? Why couldn't she stand the idea that she loved someone who was not Randhir? Why did the thought of being with Parth make her insides fill with disgust, but the thought of being with Randhir made her feel relaxed, like it was meant to be?

Randhir continued to stroke her hair, without saying a word to her, and she continued to cry.

"I'm a horrible person," she finally said, and sat up on the bed.

How could she even touch him after this? She didn't deserve his attention or his love. She didn't deserve anything.

"No you're not," he said and hugged her tightly, burying his face in her neck.

"Y - you don't know anything," she told him, her voice cracked. "Y - you d - don't know what I - I've done."

He broke the hug and wiped her tears away lovingly.

"No matter what you do, you can't be a horrible person," Randhir told her confidently.

Her lips began to quiver and she broke down into tears again. How could he have so much faith in her? How could she lead him on to this extent over the last eight years? How could she be so cruel?

234
As he held her to him, she tried to put a stop to her sobs. She couldn't allow him to comfort her like this, not when she had felt this terrible. She didn't deserve one bit of his affection.

" S - stop," she choked. "Let go of me."

He continued to hold her tightly, refusing to let go.

"Why don't you understand that I don't like it when you cling onto me like this?" she snapped angrily.

He finally let go of her, looking concerned.

"Will you tell me what happened?" he asked her softly.

"N - no," she whispered, her heart hurting at the thought of even bringing up that his kids weren't his. "Leave me alone."

"If I don't?" he asked her softly. "What will you do?"

"Why don't you understand I hate you?" she shrieked through her tears.

He smiled sadly at her, and she saw the pain that filled his eyes. She wanted to hug him and apologize, she wanted to beg him to forget what she just said... she wanted to hold him tightly and just come clean, but she was scared.

More than anything she was scared of hurting him.

"But I love you," he whispered with such sincerity that her heart melted.

235
When he told her he loved her, it felt like the whole world had collapsed on top of her in a good way. His confession felt so genuine that for the first time she didn't doubt its authenticity. Randhir loved her. He really did.

For some reason, it made her heart soar. But for another reason, it made her feel even more terrible.

How could she lead someone on like this? How could she stay with Randhir and have kids with someone else? She still couldn't believe Parth's words, but the picture he had shown her told a different story altogether.

She looked away from him, not responding to his confession, although a strong part of her ached to tell him that she felt the same way. But could it be that she did? No. She couldn't think about her feelings for Randhir right now. She would get herself entangled in another mess.

"Let me ask you something," she said, wiping her tears with her fingers. "How much do you love me?"

"You don't ask someone how many drops of water there are in the ocean," he told her with a smile and touched her cheek softly.

She shivered and fresh tears filled her eyes.

"W - what if I love someone else?" she asked him. "What would you do?"

"You can't love someone else," he said simply. "But if you did, I would let you go... because my love for you is beyond having you here with me."

How could he so confidently say she couldn't love someone else? Had she seriously fooled him that much over the years?

"And - and if I cheated on you?" she then asked, her eyes wide, "And if I lied to you? Would you still love me?"

Randhir leaned towards her and kissed her forehead gently.

"Always," he murmured. "I always have loved you and I always will."

She held back a sob and felt her body crumble.

She couldn't do this to him when he loved her so much.

"What will make you stop loving me?" she asked him softly.

"Sanyukta, you don't ask someone when the ocean will dry up," he murmured to her. "My love for you won't go away so easily. Now you tell me, what happened to you?"

Her lips began to quiver before she buried her face in her hands, way to embarrassed to look at him right now.

"I - I feel so dirty," she finally whispered and he pulled her into his arms, holding her to him so she could release all her sorrows.

236
Randhir held her to him as she sobbed. He didn't know what happened to her, but he knew that something seemed to have affected her very deeply.

"Don't touch me," she whispered into his chest and he held her to him more tightly.

"I'm not letting go of you," he answered firmly. "Tell me why you're saying you're dirty. How can you be dirty?"

She cried and held his shirt, trying to battle between her feelings of holding him close and then pushing him back.

How was she supposed to tell him about all the crimes she felt like she had committed? She was his criminal.

"I can't tell you," she whispered. "Y - you will lose all respect for m - me. I can take that... but m - maybe you'll die."

Randhir was shocked. What was she even saying? He didn't understand her one bit this time.

"Sanyukta how can you say that so confidently? Just tell me," he said and then let go of her before kissing her cheek.

As his lips brushed over a teardrop, she shuddered. His touch did this beautiful thing to her.

"I'm horrible," she sobbed, "I'm getting feelings for you when I don't deserve you."

Randhir pressed his forehead against hers before capturing her lips in a loving kiss. He broke the kiss and cupped her cheeks, deciding to tell her the truth of how deeply they loved each other.

"Look Sanyukta, you can say whatever you want but nothing is going to change the truth. The truth that you and I love each other very much," he whispered to her.

She looked at him with shock.

"Yes, we had a love marriage. We fell in love Sanyukta," he told her softly.

She sniffled and choked back on her own tears.

"I - I love you?" she asked him.

"You tell me," he said to her, caressing her cheek with his thumb.

She closed her eyes, before listening to the part of her heart that was aching for him and finally confessing, "I love you."

She couldn't run away from her feelings any longer.

237
Sanyukta confessed what she had been trying to avoid for the last few months. She didn't know how quickly Randhir had grown on her, but now she was sure that what she felt was nothing short of love. She was in love, and it was supposed to be the most beautiful feeling, yet for her, it felt like the most burdensome.

Randhir looked at her in awe as she confessed that she loved him too, and before she knew it, he had engulfed her in a tight hug again.

"You don't know how long I've been craving to hear those words come out of your mouth," he whispered into her ear, and she hugged him back with shaking hands. "You don't know how hard it has been for me."

With tears in her eyes, she pushed him back.

"I - I love you for being such a doormat," she then said to him. "Because I get everything I want. I love you for your money. That's the reason I love you."

Randhir looked at her suspiciously.

"What's wrong with you?" he asked her. "Until a few days ago, you were calling me an MCP, and now you're calling me a doormat?"

"Yes, when an MCP falls in love with someone like me, he will obviously become a doormat. I've only ever used you," she snapped at him and he looked at her with shock. "I've only ever hated you... as if I actually loved you. You think I'm stupid? You think I could ever love someone like you?"

Randhir blinked, stunned by what she was saying. Her words held a lot of poison, but he knew that she was lying.

"Why are you saying all of this?" he asked her softly.

"Because it is the truth!" she snapped. "I don't love you! Whatever I was before I had my memory snatched away was probably a lie too... I probably pretended this whole time."

"You can undermine my love Sanyukta, that's fine. But don't undermine your own love," he commented sharply. "I won't tolerate it. Now will you tell me what's wrong?"

She pressed her lips together angrily, before snapping, "The problem is that I hate living in one room with you! I hate you! I hate this!"

She didn't mean a word she said. But she desperately wanted him to scold her, to tell her to shut up, to even punish her. She wanted him to hate her... because the love she saw in his eyes for her was too much to handle.

"Talk to me when you've calmed down," he finally said darkly.

Then he got off the bed and left the room, without looking back. Sanyukta brought her knees up to her chin and began to cry again.

"I'm sorry," she whispered. "I really do love you Randhir... I really do."

Then she sniffled and smiled at the thought of loving him, before disgust filled her up again. She couldn't smile when she was such a horrible person. She didn't deserve anyone's love. She didn't deserve happiness.

238
When Sanyukta finally left her room, she went downstairs to check up on Somya with Raghav in her arms. Somya was doing her homework in the living room today. Randhir was sitting on the sofa, on his phone.

Randhir looked up as she approached them with Raghav in her arms. She sat on the sofa next to Randhir, without looking at him, while Somya was busy scribbling in her notebook.

He put his phone down and held out his arms to take Raghav from Sanyukta, but she held Raghav closer to her, refusing to let Randhir take him.

Randhir looked up at her suspiciously, but she still wouldn't look him in the eyes.

"Somya, are you almost done your homework?" she asked her lovingly.

"No! I still have a lot!" Somya responded, not even glancing up.

"Okay, tonight me and Raghav will sleep in your room. Is that okay?" she asked Somya.

Somya's head then shot up and she turned around to look at her mom suspiciously.

"There's no space," Somya said, "Where will you and that baby sleep?"

Randhir just turned around to shoot Sanyukta a glare.

"Don't worry Somya," Randhir intervened. "Nobody will sleep in your room."

"Guest room it is then," Sanyukta muttered under her breath and Randhir continued to glare at her upon hearing her.

"Sanyukta I have to talk to you. Come upstairs to our room please," he said sternly to her.

Sanyukta had the urge to reply rudely to him, but she knew her limits in front of Somya, so she stood up and followed him into their bedroom.

She put Raghav in his crib as Randhir locked the door.

"If you have a problem with me it's fine. But don't drag Somya into it," he told her seriously. "She's a little kid."

Sanyukta crossed her arms angrily.

"I don't know why you're giving me orders. She's my daughter!" she snapped.

"She's my daughter too," Randhir replied firmly.

"No she isn't!" she yelled finally, tears reaching her eyes, with the burden of what she knew squeezing her heart painfully.

239
When she said that Somya wasn't his daughter, a look of fury appeared in his eyes. He grabbed her arms and pushed her back against the wall, her back hitting it hard. A fresh set of tears filled her eyes as she looked into his eyes which were felt with pain and anger. She wanted him to take it all out on her.

"You don't even know," he said, bringing his voice down to a dangerous whisper. "You don't even know how close Somya is to me, so don't you utter something like that again."

She knew Randhir loved Somya a lot. It hurt to see him hurt, but what could she do? She wanted him to get angry at her, irritated to the point where he couldn't see anything beyond hurting her.

"I will," Sanyukta responded and used her hands to push him back, "What will you do? Somya is not your daughter!"

Randhir grabbed her arms and pressed her firmly against the wall.

"What has gotten into you?" he asked her. "Until yesterday you were fine."

"I just hate this!" she snapped. "I told you!"

Randhir felt his heart melt upon seeing her condition in front of him. She looked miserable.

Could it be that she really had no feelings for him this whole time?

No, of course not. She was hiding something from him.

"Tell me what's wrong," he replied firmly.

"No!" she responded.

"Tell me," he repeated.

"No!" she defied.

Randhir leaned closer to her, so dangerously close that she could feel his breath on her lips. She squeezed her eyes shut and tried to muster up the strength to push him away, but before she could, he had already pressed his lips on hers.

Sanyukta felt like crying all over again. She didn't know what she had done with her body, but Randhir didn't deserve this unclean, dirty version of her.

She pushed him back hard, and he stumbled backwards.

"I cheated on you!" she finally confessed, falling to the ground as she started to sob uncontrollably.
