When someone tells you to ignore a certain piece of news, their meaning is pretty damn clear. Ignore it. Give it no importance. Is Deepika speaking in riddles now? I don't think so. Lastly, why should she sit around clarifying every single piece of news written about her? Does she have time to sit around clarifying every single news article written about her? No. And why should she give the articles importance by acknowledging them? How does ignoring something written about you equate to asking for attention and publicity? Ridiculous. The connections people will draw just out of spite.</font>

It's not the same situation. Neil told the media himself about a possible role in the GoT. He was directly quoted. In Deepika's case, she has not said a word about any of this to the media. It's all speculation, and hence, she does not need to address it.
