I am so happy that the CVs showed the conflict in Raja Janak. The emotions of a father who has to allow his daughter to go and take up the responsibilities in her new home.
See I as a person always believe conflicts have to be showed, because we are humans and at certain points in life even the great men face conflicts. True greatness lies in acknowledging the conflict, using your knowledge to conquer it and emerge victorious from the conflict.

Problem happens when most people suppress the conflict. They want to show everything is fine, when everything is not fine from inside. And I loved the way Ram spoke to Raja Janak as an understanding son-in-law. It is not the ritual of vidhai important, but the thought with which vidaai is done is important.
Something auspicious has happened to his daughter. She is a married woman now. And as a father he has to perform his duty of sending her to sasural. But if he does that with putri moh in his mind, without freewill even the kanyadan will lose its essence which Ram didnt want to happen. So he has to come out of the putri moh.

If Ram's words were beauty, Sita's words crowned it. She was telling her father not to put her in a dilemma. She is not just his daughter, but Ram's wife and Kul vadhu of Ayodhya. She has to respect Mithila and Ayodhya. If he unduly delays vidhai people will talk ill of Mithila in her sasural which she doesnt want, and she cannot keep Ayodhya people waiting unnecessarily too as it is her maryada to take care of Ayodhya also.

The way they spoke to Janak showed their understanding of his dilemma and offering their support to overcome it.

In our life many times mountains are made out of mole hill because of suppression of emotions. Not able to accept our weakness in front of others, we pretend to be brave. If you look at suicides most issues happen due to lack of communication, not able to face failures.

Today the message is if you have problem accept it. Acceptance of existence of the problem is the first step towards solving it. Because once you accept the problem ways to solve it also will emerge and slowly but surely you will be able to overcome it.

nice post di👏👏👏
Raja Rishi Janak perfectly nailed the father's character. It is really tough for any father to send his sweet heart away from him.
Ram as a son in law keeping aside his pride tried to understand Janak Maharaj's anguish, his pain👏
Ram is Ram like always😃
Even Maharaj Dasharath understood Janak's plight😃 which we will never expect from the groom's side👏👏👏
For the first i see a bold Sita👏👏
The way she convinced her father with his own words😃
I thought she will become emotional but what a balance she maintained👏👏
Sita's Endurance is clearly visible.
Keeping his father's pride she even took a stand for her Maternal Home
Today's episode is truly an epic😃

I liked the episode today, very much.
High on "speeches", but I enjoyed it nevertheless, all of them ⭐️ for they showed the conflicts of mind, loving parents of a girl would have, at this stage of her life., and for the sensible and mature understanding, the girl and the groom should show at such junctures.

And who would think, the ever righteous Rajarshi Janak ( as portrayed in the show till now ) , is shown to become susceptible to such emotional turmoil 😉.

Glad they have touched upon this subject 😃

P.S : Request if any one could brief me on the meaning of the chaupai that is sung @ background, in this particular scene. Would like to know this , very much 😊

On a different and a serious note, they really need to tone down bharat's OTT shyness... Its highly irritating.
I didn't like his scene today... It was pretty OTT...

Watch that part when u can shruthi 😊

Shruthi bang on post yaar 👏
Moh aur prem :- the two feelings that ppl usually confuse with each other.

Moh is selfish. Prem is selfless... One needs to get the difference between the two. And am glad, today they addressed it as putrimoh and not prem, even JANAKA. And that's the reason I fell in love wid this character even more. He knows he has become selfish with the moh he holds for his daughter. Unlike the swayamwar, where his prem was a driving force, now the situation has reversed and moh has taken its place.

@DD Bharat can be a little more assertive I agree 😆😆
One thing with Janak is that he has acknowledged the problem. His wisdom knows he is wrong to hold onto his daughter. But still the conflict happens.

I don't know what and where to point regarding bharat... Till now it was okay, but today's scene really irked me. I guess it wasn't needed or the actor failed to portray it. They really need to work on bharat and the actor needs to work on his expressions..

And you rightly pointed about JANAKA shruthi. You know thru the whole episode I was reminded of the sacred scholar meet that JANAKA conducted when sita was a kid and we were introduced to gargi. Sita expressed her desire to be under her tutelage and to be like her. Its after a series of questions that gargi pose in front of the scholars and accepts her defeat in the end. Gargi informs sita of the same. There's an interesting dialogue here. Sita says to accept defeat is also not easy. It needs real courage and only the person with right knowledge can do this.

The same applies to JANAKA. Long back during swayamwar or smthn or I ges 30th Jan epi after swayamwar there was a scene where sita tells JANAKA to cry as it won't b easy for him to do with ppl around. See the irony today. The same man engulfed in putrimoh lost temper in front of the family, cried not only in front of his daughter but also son-in-law ( and this needs true guts).

He is not embarrassed to put forth his concerns. He expresses those to dashratha, his family, ram and sita. The man wears heart on his sleeve. Speaks his mind, heart and soul. This needs guts, true guts.

If u draw a parallel from here, you will find a contrast with dashratha. Dashratha though concerned about Shanta couldn't express it and hence had a tensed relation with kaushalya for a long tym... Who brings him out? Its Ram.

But I won't say the same for JANAKA. Janaka already expressed everything and ram pacified him.

And keeping these two things in mind, I derived the symbolism of ram also being janaka's reflection. And the conversation has opened this particular loop.

Sita already being janaka's reflection and siya-ram's 36 guna Milan makes me more inclined to this theory of mine... Its a bit speculative now but still after a lot thinking I have concluded this.

How the loop shall be closed is to be seen...

On a different note the sisters looked horrible in the precap 🤢
I wish they change it asap...
One more thing I wanted to point during vivah saptaha were the head pieces ( chudamanis) given to the sisters and the hairdo 🥱

It was pretty too much...

@DD difference between Janak and Dasrath is their ego. Accepting defeat is one thing, but it needs more courage to accept mistake. Janak knows Putri moh is a mistake and he should not be doing it. But even then he is doing it and he accepts it. Acceptance of mistake helps in easy correction.
In Dasrath's case burdened by traditions even though his heart knows about the mistake, he is unwilling to accept it. You get anger when you know you are at fault and don't want to admit it. Instead of directing the anger inwards, you direct it at an object or person who can be an easy target. In Shanta's case Dasrath knew it was Putra moh because of which Shanta had to be a rishi's wife. Again with Kaikeyi when she asks the question whether he gave the vachan instead of explaining it calmly he berates her reason Ram-Moh. Dasrath is tied with Moh-Maya. And that Moh-Maya is going to take him down when Ram starts the vanvass.
The Moh with which he justified his mistakes will finally take him down. It is not Kaikeyi who is only responsible for Ram's vanvass though Dasrath made it look like that. It was a problem with both of them in which Ram became the collateral damage.
@DD I better don't talk about make up. Both head ornament and nose ring stuck out. Sita's gold chain was too loud and lacked aesthics. Bahus of normal TV shows look more beautiful in their bridal lehenga and make up. And tomorrow Sita's neckpiece looks like a weirdo. 😕
