Hum Tum reminded me of Abhishek and Rani man! Okay...now this definitely will be an unpopular opinion but I absolutely adored their chemistry in the scenes where they fight in KANK. I also got why Kajol said no to Rani's role. Her reasoning was something that did make sense to me as she couldn't relate to the character. I mean I understand that Rani was never in love with his character but I have to say I loved Abhishek in KANK. My heart went to him when he breaks down in one of their fights. I personally didn't care much for the movie apart from a few scenes and songs. Tumhi Dekho Na being one of them! :D

Hum Tum is beautiful, dont say like that...😭😆
I thought Abhishekh was the best character in the movie. And I also agreed with Kajol's reasoning of not doing that movie. But I also understand what the concept of the film was, though I watched the film just probably twice.Aap kitna bhi achche se handle karo ye concept kisiko hazam nehi hogi,in my opinion.

I think KANK did raise a valid point but the point is not something that would be accepted in our society.. that being said, I think if it had been Kajol in place of Rani, ppl would probably have accepted them because with them, ppl just want them to be together😆
I might be in the minority but I did get the point that the film made and agreed to it to some extent, cutting out the extra marital affair of course

But the point was that extra marital affair. That was the highlight. We can agree but we can't quite like the film fully. And you will see people saying that Dev and Maya should have been alone but theydon't understand that that was not the concept. The concept was not punishing the cheaters the concept was cheaters having second chance after realizing their mistakes.

P.S. Mujhe doubt hai...The film did well in overseas but is still bashed for supporting cheaters so I doubt Kajol would be able to save it from the bashing.

see the point i got from the movie was that there is no point in dragging a marriage if it has been sucked out of life.. also that you should never get married for the wrong reasons. both, Dev and Maya were not really into their relationships right from the word go.. Its not that their partners were wrong.. it was just that they weren't right for them.., they tried to make their marriage work but if you are in a marriage just because you have kids or because you feel that is an obligation, the marriage holds no meaning.. thats the point I agreed with in the film..
As far as letting them be alone goes, yes they did do a mistake.. but sometimes spouses do forgive their cheating partners and do not hold grudges.. and in this case, Preity and Abhishek got where both Dev and Maya were coming from.. so the getting together did not seem wrong to me.. the only part I hated was ther sleeping together
Oh I know.. I was just kidding about the Kajol part
