Is Alia Bhatt eyeing men double her age?

The petite looking actress Alia Bhatt embarked her career with fresh, young and talented actors like Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra. She also paired with another suave looking young gun Arjun Kapoor and side-by-side romanced an unconventional hero like Randeep Hooda. But it seems Karan Johar's Student' has a different game plan in her mind.

After teaming up with the young blood of Bollywood, Alia is eyeing men, who belong to different age bracket, as in who are double her age! Well, if we say in other words, then she seems to have shifted from the budding stars to box-office spinner superstars of Bollywood. Recently, she did a film SHAANDAAR with Shahid Kapoor. Though the film wasn't received well, her pairing with Shahid was appreciated. And now she will be yet again seen with the HAIDER actor in the forthcoming venture UDTA PUNJAB, also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Besides, she is doing ENGLISH VINGLISH maker Gauri Shinde's upcoming untitled film wherein she has been cast opposite the Badshah of romance', Shah Rukh Khan. Alia will pair up with a superstar double her age. Reportedly, Kunal Kapoor and Ali Fazal will also join her in the film.

And now, Alia is said to romance Akshay Khiladi' Kumar in BADLAPUR fame Sriram Raghavan's next, which will be a thriller. The film will be based on a novel written by Sheeja Jose titled, 'Gone With The Bullet'. Interestingly, this won't be the first time Alia and Akshay will be working in a film together. In the 1999 thriller, SANGHARSH, Alia played the younger Preity Zinta.

Looks like the bubbly Alia Bhatt is now in a mood to romance only older men on screen! You never know Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, John Abraham, Farhan Akhtar, Irrfan Khan may be next on the list.
