Lover's Point - Point 1857

Introduction:

It's quite obvious that fans of Rajveer- Naina of 'Left Right Left' don't need any help to remember what is this 'Point 1857'! If I try to check them, by saying, it's about a 'war' that took place, way back in the year 1857, you all will ask, who am I kidding! 😉 So, I won't do anything such as that for sure. 😆

Although my readers of 'Rajveer-Naina The Mystery Begins' must be waiting for 'Point 1857' to happen, for Rajveer and Naina to reach Point 1857. But since it still has time so I thought why not giving you all an SS on Point 1857?

I hope you'll enjoy the read! 😳

'Point 1857', the 'lovers' point', only for the batches of KMA. The secret venue where for some moments the pairs of KMA, who were deeply in love, had spent their valuable time together. And when they returned back to KMA, they brought with them many beautiful, emotional and romantic memories which they cherished throughout their life.

Now that Rajveer has got the opportunity to feel what it is like to be there with someone, will he be able to control and hide his feelings? Will he remember that he promised himself that he won't let his heart overpower his mind?

How will he feel being Rajveer, after so many years? For today he is not a Captain, he is not 'her' mentor, may be for her, she is going with her brother's friend but for Rajveer, he is going there with 'Naina' just 'Naina'! If he were bold enough to admit his feelings, even to himself, then he would have said he is going with 'his' Naina.

Dressed in blue jacket and white inner, along with a pair of blue denim jeans, Rajveer waits for Naina outside KMA, in front of the gate. Resting his back against the rear door of his jeep, Rajveer finds himself in a state of mixed emotions. He had only heard about the place by his fellow mates. Even today after so many years, when he remembers about the days, when he was a cadet of KMA, when almost everyday some or the other cadet used to make plans about visiting this place, gives him tickling.

But even on those days, just like today not many people of KMA were aware that there exists such kind of a place. A place that's truly heaven on earth, a place where the air is filled with only love. Not a love that is shared between a mother and a child; not a love that is shared between siblings; but the love that one feels for someone special. The love, that one waits for, to get for all his life. And when he at last gets it, when he realizes that yes 'she is the one!', then which other better place can it be to visit, than 'Point 1857'!

Yes, Rajveer had been waiting for this day, while he was a cadet. Although he reminds himself that the day he got graduated from KMA, he gave up the hope of visiting this place. He wasn't even eager anymore. The word 'Point 1857' didn't give him tickling by then. But only his heart knows that his mind is wrong! The urge to know, what this place is like, has always remained in his heart. Although buried deep inside, too deep, that he didn't even get time to ponder, but yes it was there... safe... all these times.

It wasn't a lie when he said, "pyar kya, maine toh kab ki shadi kar li hai apne desh se", but come on, he doesn't have to get married to visit this place, with 'someone special'! - he reminds himself, again and again. So what if he is trying too hard, not to think about, what he'll want next after he returns back from Point 1857. But then he reminds himself another thing too, one has to propose someone, before he gets married. Hold on, propose? married? How do these words fit with Naina? I mean Rajveer is using, okay, thinking these words and merging it with Naina? How can he forget that she is his cadet, just cadet?

Alright, fine, he accepts he has another relation with her too, other than mentor-protegee relationship. Well how can he forget that she is Naina Singh Ahluwalia, sister of his best friend, his batch mate Naveen's younger sister? Okay, so may be he should feel comfortable now, for taking her to Point 1857! Come on, she asked, meaning his 'best friend's' sister asked him to take her to 'Point 1857', how can he just deny like that?

Come on, who is he kidding? He did try to avoid her. How can he forget that when she came to him, asking about the place, he tried too hard to change her decision. He tried to put conditions in front of her.

Continue.. Continue... Continue... Plzzz.. :) Point 1857 ! Thank God that I had done away with The Revolt of 1857 in Class 7 itself ! Otherwise I am sure, had it come up later in my syllabus, I would have definitely failed in my history exams, kyunki paper mein sirf "love-ology" likhi hoti... ;)

Hahaha! 😆 Well at first I thought I'll write an OS but I ended up writing a SS I guess, more parts will follow. I shall consider changing the heading now. 😉
