Why is it that only Rekha is called to announce the winner in FF?

For many years I have seen that Rekha has been a fixture to announce the best actor and actress.Even this year she was called up.Add to that she does a lot of melodrama while announcing the winner.Is she the only one who stays late till the entire ceremony? 😆

She does a lot of nautanki on stage while announcing the winner. Plus she gets respect from the female actors and gets to flirt with the male actors. So...umm I don't know. Maybe she hopes one day AB Sr will win Best Actor Popular and she will get to present him an award. 🤔

Filmfart wants Rekha for AB, Jaya, Rekha angle. The only way to make her appear in her heavy Kanjeevarams, decked in jewels, flowers, sindoor is to let her announce most important awards. Evergreen Rekha. 😆

Sridevi with Uncle Boney used to be a permanent fixture for main category. Looks like Arjun Kapoor put an end to it.

Since the 90s they've always had Rekha or Hema or Shabana or Dimple or Sridevi announce Best Actress/Best Actor awards. Even in the 50s + 60s the likes of Nutan + Nargis + Vyjayanthimala presented these awards. What's the big deal?
