Sonam Kapoor's favourite uncle, producer, Boney Kapoor and wife, actress, Sridevi were conspicuous by their absence on her big day, the Saawariya music launch. Boney told us the reasons why.
"It was the first time my niece Sonam (Anil Kapoor's daughter) was going to make an appearance in front of the entire media and I definitely missed being there. I had to come to Chennai on the very same day for attending a wedding ceremony of my wife's relative," Boney told us from Chennai.
"But I visited Sonam on the same morning (September 15th) and wished her good luck for her acting career in Bollywood. She is a talented girl and Sanjay Leela Bhansali is an ace director, he must have definitely presented her very well in her debut film. I am sure she will make her mark in the industry," says a confident Boney.
"I am still in Chennai with my scriptwriters, working on the scripts of my forthcoming films. As soon as I fly back to Mumbai I am going to meet Sonam once again," the No Entry producer adds before signing off.
Boney is currently busy completing his Salman Khan starrer, Wanted: Dead or Alive, also starring Ayesha Takia and directed by ace dancer turned choreographer and now turned filmmaker, Prabhu Deva.
