Bhansali and BM didn't deserve Best director and Best film FF awards.

It was shocking to know the weakest out of all the nominees winning Filmfare awards.

BM was the weakest film out of all the nominees.I didn't find the film that good the way members here called it.Neither Bhansali's direction was that special to get an award.What do you think?

The only deserving is Best actor besides than NO other .. It wasnt the best movie pathetic story line and Giving best actress and best film award is beyond stupid.

😆... Visual extravaganza without a soul, only raised by actors...

this should be the order of preference, IMO...

@Bold - DP won best actress for Piku and not BM...

OT - Piku and BB deserved the best film this year. Piku got the critics choice and BB should have got Best film popular hands down.. Also No offence but this topic was already discussed so much when FF awards happened 😆

It maybe doesnt deserve Best Film but i think SLB deserves Best Director. I think the clash is a proof to that. Most people didnt understand what the movie was about but the trailers were good enough that people still went to watch it maybe not for the story but for the experience and the performance of the actors while everyone else went to watch other movies because there was a Khan or the story was really good.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan should have taken it. It was a very wholesome film that will appeal to people of all ages and backgrounds even years from now.

Hmm why weak it beat the reigning superstar movie, it had good direction, good music good acting , good people verdict which is shown by box office collection.

Agree BB was good, picku was excellent but BM was larger than life which end of the day Bollywood is about,

Thank god that there is a non Khan hundred crore movie. Bollywood can live little longer

Slb does deserve best director, the way he made bm I can't imagine any other director doing that, from the tiniest details on the sets, costumes, song sequences, the war scenes, all the research that went into it

He really bought the story of Bajirao, mastani and kashi to big screen and he deserves to be awarded for that

Ikr! The movie was boring, I was yawning n waiting to walk out! The Omg so emotional ending I read in this forum moment never came 😆 it was my friends second watch as well, madam was like ending me nikal jaate hai its sad... I am like kahe ka paisa vasool doing ruk. Then I wait, n am still yawning still no emotional connect!! Ending zero!

Best film? NO

However pc, RS n SLB did deserve it... those extravagant sets were mind blowing... Pc in her authenticity rocked it with her sarcasm & taunts Only wish she dint bother about bajirao in his death bed when he thinks she is mastani...

Bajrangi Bhaijaan IMO deserved to win... That movie was smtg extraordinary n covered almost all aspects. That's a movie you could connect with.
