Karthik's attitude towards survi nowadays is really pissing me off. I no longer see the love in his eyes for survi that i saw for her before the marriage drama. I don't care whether he feels guilt for the fact that he knows that aniket loves survi yet he had to marry her himself; he just can't get away with disregarding her the way he does. He acts like he was forced into marrying her or this marriage is an unwanted burden on him; he was the one who wanted to marry her in the first place because he loved her and now all of a sudden marrying her is the biggest mistake of his life and he is unhappy?
Karthik's attitude and feelings towards survi have always been unpredictable but this is just the limit and i do not care about his guilt for aniket as he never once felt guilt for forcing survi for this marriage or the fact she was humiliated at the altar because of him. In fact after the marriage he blew off the whole thing by telling her "your problem's solved now, ok" as if saying that him marrying her was a favour on her and she should be thankful to him and not even complain that all this happened because of him. I'm starting to really dislike karthik as his character is slowly losing touch with reality.
Sometimes i don't even feel like he loves her, but rather has a childish mini crush on her that he remembers now and again when he wants comfort or he feels like he deserves to have someone to talk about his feelings to. Aniket has loved survi for only a few weeks; karthik only for a few weeks, but survi has been in love with karthik for 8 years, loved him from the age most humans don't even understand the real meaning of love. Aniket's love is mere childishness, but if that was the case for survi her love for karthik would have died in childhood. Regardless of whether karthik knows or not that survi has loved him for years, how does he have the right to decide who should get survi's love?
Ever since he made that promise to srikanth when survi was 13 that he would always protect her he has considered survi only his resposibility, and when that feeling subsides he thinks of her as his personal property who he can make decisions in regards to without her permission. But now after the marriage he constantly makes her think that she is nothing but a burden for him.
If this is how he's going to treat her she might as well write a letter and leave him after that saying that he knows that he feels guilt for marrying her as he thinks he stole his brother's happiness and that she is nothing but a burden for him, which she can not take as she feels that the friendship they once had no longer exists due to his guilt and that she would rather be away from him than see him treat her as just a resposibility or a compulsion to live with and that she knows that he fears aniket's reaction if he finds out about their marriage, that he fears that aniket may hate him so she is leaving him to make sure that never happens. She should further say she does not want to come in between the love and happiness of two brothers neither does she want to be the cause for anamosity between the two.
After reading this letter i want to see him break down and realise his mistake, realise what she really meant to him and that he has only taken her for granted. Only when he feels he is about to lose her will he come back to his sense and give her the respect she derserves from him. But i know this will not happen as cv's will not take this shortcut to getting rid of the problems between karthik-survi.
