Dear friends
we are all fans of a wonderful show and we love it and we have the right to even codemn it.
But sometimes certain comments from fans ,I feel are given before even understanding the whole picture.
some of you do not live in India and some of you do not know about certain things or customs being shown in the show. But they exist.
In India Aghoris very much exist ,kumbh melas are full of them.IN india these vrats for getting a son happen.
I am so glad makers of IKRS are touching these various aspects and are giving a reasoning through the most sane of their characters Viplav.and they are voicing reasoning softly ,so as to not hurt any sections feelings.
some of you feel this show was about widows and their turmoils, and now it is not.
I think all that dhani is going thru is because she is a widow.thru kanak ,tripurari ,phoolchand they are depicting all the turmoils.they had to face the wrath of mobs as well.
I am glad that they are keeping in mind a lot of social issues present in the region .
and lastly TRPs.trps are very imp.if the makers have to tweak the story a bit in search of trps I feel it is good for us.They have to work towards getting trps or we will have no show at all.
So from my side kudos to the makers for being as close to the subject inspite of all the commercial compulsions.
And happy that they are touching on so many aspects and shedding light in peple's mind thru viplav.
Do not intend to hurt anyone but just voicing my opinin about IKRS.

agree, Cvs trying to show how widows are treated in the socitey in different aspects. I am enjoyying the show and getting to know more about widow problems thru this show.
Know about Aghoris who live in forests and they used to attend kumbh melas.
Appreciate CVs efforts.

Agree with you. So far we have seen different ways widows are treated, whether it is by the family (DL and her archaic views), by the so called righteous religious man (Phoolchand, DT and all), by the common men (Tripurari, tea vendor, vegetable seller), women who are not widowed (Kanak, the mother-in-law of a woman to whom Dhaani went to give clothes etc).
Bringing in the aghoris is also good, as I was not aware of such tribe, so why not educate people while developing the story.
The good thing that throughout all these Viplav stood his ground.
We saw the education process of Viplav, How initially he took widowhood as a joke and then knowing the reality, he this changed his mindset etc.
This show is not just about Dhaani and Viplav and when they are going to kiss or whatever, Though we do enjoy these romantic scenes, but even a scene at the graveyard was more powerful in portraying Viplav's love than a mere hand holding scene.

Completely agree!!! I didnt know about aghoris before...so this like somerhing new I have learnt!!!I have no problem in watching all this provided its gripping how the story revolves around Vidha!!! I m getting to know n learn many new stuff...
I
I guess no ones making fun here...its just a friendly casual chats or an opinions n discussion s going on...after all this is,wat forum is for...exchanging n discussing info...As long as no one is crossing the line...its ok!!! Har cheez bariki se dekhoge...then it gives rise to battlefield here!!!one should be open enough to allow others to voice according to them is what right or rong n accept viewpoints accordingly...Again no one is doing it intentionally!!!So my dear friend relax...😆😆😆

Fine example khud show ka hero Viplav doesn't agree vrats n prathas of having a son through it...He said its bekaar baate n he will make fun of it...!!!!!!...Then we are just mere audience!!

Well said . The show is doing just that and as long as the love story is string I am ok with it.

If it gets too preechy then I will not like it . So what Viplav said to his mom about rituals and to Dhani about vrats is a good way of bringing up a point.

Me too did not know about these aghories.

Trps need to increase at this point that is my worry.

Agree with you. This treatment of widows has been going on in India for ages and this show has taken a bold step in showing how widows are treated in the most religious place in India and trying to educates the public through this medium.

Many of us did not know about this Aghori Tribe and this show has brought it in this story very aptly.

There are still many old traditions in India that needs to change as in "Child Marriages"
"Dowry" and "Foeticide "" Female Infanticide" and general disrespect of women in a male oriented society.

I personally do applaud the CV's of this show for showing the public in this medium that attracts viewers from all over and show us different ways of the world.

Dolly the treatment of the message on the show is also very important to convey the social message.

Not to offend anyone who watches that show there is another one on colors talking about bonded child labor and I think it is so important but is of no interest to me coz of its treatment . And not saying it should have an urban appeal but a bit more appealing . It's a tv show after all . Just my thought .

Udaan used to be a nice serial upto 100 episodes but after that it has lost it's charm for too much villains.Starting episodes were magical and i agree it need some patience levels to watch that serial.i guess bonded labour situation will be like that just they tried to depict.female lead chakor was treat to watch and she has some great brains infact to tackle with main villain.

This sounds crazy but chakor is more smarter n intelligent than viplav lol.udaan serial is full of intense and powerful characters.you never get bored if you watch that serial.im surprised that serial has done wonder in trp ratings. In it's 7 or 8 week it attained 3.9 ratings for it's wonderful concept.Sadly there are very less online viewers for udaan because we audience easily sell for love stories triangle love parts saas bahu shows and also naagins bhoots daayans.Im happy that atleast udaan is getting good trp ratings.
