uno I was actually impressed by both Mandana and Prince today.
I can see where she's coming from, and why Prince's attitude and behaviour might've irked her so much. I can also see where Prince is coming from, and how his age and the environment he was raised in might've been the reason why he can act sometimes irresponsibly.
The truth of the matter is, they have lived different lives, under different circumstances and look and perceive everything differently today because of that. We are all a sum of our life experiences. The good, the bad, the ugly.
So despite both being valid, I loved how they're mature enough to know when to let things slide, when to look past them sometimes, to see that everyone is multi-dimensional, and EVERYONE harbours good and bad. Towards the end, it was soo refreshing to see them still be able to joke around, mess around with one another, be not just cordial but actually enjoy moments together.
AND OMG, when Prince agreed, SO READILY, to massage Mandana's feet, i swear i wanted to go hug him right then and there haha. He didn't make it sound like it was deriding in any way, or it was beneath him to massage a girl's feet, or all that uno. That was perfect. I hate when people's views are tainted with gender stereotypes and all that. And I loved how Mandana, instead of again screaming at Prince for asking her to cook, was able to show a bit of maturity and agree to it.
It's baby steps eh. A good change ought to be welcomed in everyone.
I literally was expecting her to blow Prince off once again, but when she said, "aight massage my feet and I'll cook you food" ❤️
And about that snatching food, can we not sensationalize every little action of these people please? they're normal people, it's easy for celebrities to put on a "I'm all perfect" show for a few minutes every month, but this is hella different. It was the heat of the moment.
