Neither.
Mastani was a talented warrior princess who died for love & while that's great I find it wasteful of such life & potential.Paro was a weak lady who pines away for an alcoholic depressive & allows herself to be married off to a man who was probably old enough to be her father; so my pick will be Kaashi. Not only did she love & live selflessly she dedicated her life to the orphaned son of her late husband Bajirao & his love, Mastani. She brought them up with care & treated her husbands lovers son as her own. Very very very few women could ever be so selfless, dignified & graceful in what the world clearly saw as her defeat- The discarded wife of a famous & valorous warrior, abandoned for a beautiful & bewitching princess. And a widow to boot , left to nourish young boys in an era when your only worth was when there was a man next to you.To me she was a lovely blend of the good & the practical & PC's performance has subtly awed me enough to choose Kaashi as my pick for any female character from the worlds SLB so luxuriously brings alive.
