Note: - This ain't any Bashing thread, just analyzing Top 30 Films.

Distributor Share is very important for every film, it gives the actual picture as how big film is Hit or how Low it has performed. There is certain % of return from Total Budget of Film which also push VERDICT of film.

Based on % Return, Top 30 films in that SORTING Order

Now you can see 4 Green SHADED lines which have been given VERDICTS by BOI, now based on those verdicts, a set of % can be marked for films earning that much, like this

How much you agree to this above set of Verdicts?

As per HIGHEST BUDGET LIST, look @ those films performances.

6 films acc. 2 me need to change for these reasons:

1. TWMR - ATBB Status as it has done business in that perspective form in which all past ATBB Films has done earlier. Only thing it couldn't achieve is 100+ Distributor Share in today's time, but if u see past ATBB films, they also haven't achieved especially 3 Idiots & Ghajini.

2. Dabangg - ATBB, Originally it was 17th ATBB as per BOI when it released & Got that huge bumper success. Don't know why it was reduced to BB. It is 1 film which is close to 200% Return, so it deserve ATBB in all aspect.

3. Agneepath - BLOCKBUSTER, done business like all BB Films.

4. Don 2 - BLOCKBUSTER, same reason as agneepath, done business in BB Way only.

5. PRDP - SUPERHIT, it deserve this verdict for achieving 100+ Cr Distributor Share mark which isn't easy in today's time, that too when film wasn't big hit in big cities. 7th film all over & 2nd film which has 150+ Cr Budget to achieve 100+ Dist Share.

6. Jai Ho - HIT, if BOI can give HIT for Ra.One, why this film was crucified like some big disaster while it has done business in MUCH Bigger way that Ra.One.

I totally agree with ur Dabangg , PRDP & Jai Ho Verdicts . Especially Really don't know but Dabangg surrely was Full Fledged Clear ATBB . God knows why BOI changed it to BB . Salman would have been having 4 ATBB's now otherwise .

He has 5 ATBB including Dabangg n KKHH acc to all trade sites Indicine, Taran, Koimoi except BOI who don't even mark kKHH as Salman movie but include Saawariya aa his flop.

7th Film which i believe should have been ATBB Status is Chennai Express. That film is bigger HIT than what DHOOM 3 was in terms of % return, it was ALL TIME GROSSER @ Time, also it is only ATG which isn't ATBB, a film earning more than 3 Idiots should get ATBB Status, but at this time BOI Has changed scenerio to give ATBB Status, something to do with beating ATBB Film's CIRCUIT Records, means doing much business in many CIRCUITS.

If u see Circuit wise also, i guess you will find CE Ahead of 3 Idiots in many circuits, still it is reduced to BlockBuster status only, while PK was given ATG/ATBB status on 4th day itself while film wasn't Biggest Opener.

Dhoom 3 being a non-holiday biggest opener got ATBB tag, while ETT was 1st film to do 100+ Distributor share, still didn't get ATBB Tag, while it was Holiday BIGGEST OPENER doing 30+ business on day 1.

Saawariya's is RK's Debut Disaster, he was launched, not Salman, that role BOI Considered as Salman's Film, but a role in KKHH for which he even got BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR, kahan pe, @ Filmfare, which Srk boast very proudly for Srk, still isn't considered to be Salman's film.

KKHH has much bigger role than Saawariya, that film if added in Salman's list on BOI will Shoot up all figures for Salman, which is 1 main reason why BOI has struck off KKHH. Also BOI has Struck off DULHA MIL GAYA, Srk's film from his list, a Disaster in this decade, but uska record sahi rahe so woh udi di, Salman ki daal di in previous decade 😆
