Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan opted out of two plum projects recently. Obviously, his loss is going to be someone else's gain.
It is common knowledge by now that SRK has bowed out of Shankar's Robot and director Rajkumar Hirani's next film.
Well, given Hirani's successful box-office record, SRK's departure from his film will obviously be seen as the superstar's loss.
That loss has become gain for newcomer Ranbir Kapoor who has reportedly been signed by Hirani in SRK's place.
Hirani's movie will expose the inadequacies of modern education system. The film is believed to be based on Chetan Bhagat's best-selling novel 'Five Point Someone'.
It is a film Hirani has been wishing to make for a long time.
Ranbir Kapoor was on the cards for a role in the film ever since Rishi Kapoor approached Hirani to make a film with Ranbir after the release of Lage Raho Munnabhai .
SRK and Ranbir are already headed for a clash on November 9 when their films Om Shanti Om and Saawariya hit the theatres.
