Prologue:

Rape.

The first thought which comes to our mind after hearing the news of a rape is that of a woman in deep pain.
The image which is used to symbolize this heinous and reprehensible crime, is that of a crying woman, hiding her face from the world.

But are woman the only victims to rape, which happens to the fourth most common crime in India? If not, then why these stereotypes around a disgusting crime?

The 2014 National Crime Victimization Survey found that 38 percent of incidents of rape and other sexual violence were against men but still we question on the possibility of the rape happening and the authenticity of the report filed, in fact many people question if it is even possible for a man to get raped, either by a woman or another man.

Only if the answer of that question was in negative, but our misfortune that the answer is in affirmative. In fact the Jurisprudence of our country lets any woman misuse the trust of the country to name a rape as a consensual sexual activity. The society treats this nefarious crime with utmost seriousness when the victim is a woman but when a man is subjected to the same crime, it turns into a joke.

Is it right on the part of our Indian Jurisprudence to not include males as rape survivors according to Section 375? Isn't this Section promoting the narrow-minded idealogies of our society?

Victim to so-called 'masculinity' can be a man too, people who are so-called 'protectors' too need protection, and the society needs to understand it.

One such victim who was shunned by the society for being a male-rape-victim was Arnav Singh Raizada, an employee of a well-known company in the IT Sector, who was a object of desire to his senior, Sheetal Khanna. He had lost every hope of finding justice for himself, till Khushi Gupta, a social worker and family friend finds out about the case and makes his fight for justice as her own.

Will Khushi's fight for justice give fruitful results or will the society's notion of pride and its prejudice make her lose?
