" Well, sorry to say, Mr.Gupta, you may leave from here then. You are services are no longer required, and if I may add, nor are they appreciated from my side," said Arnav as Anjali looked at Arnav in horror.

" Chotte! Enough! You are not allowed to insult them! They are here to help and.."

Shyam cut Anjali in between. " Let it be, Anjali. We cannot do anything to change some people. His pain has overpowered his sense of logic and it seems that he wouldn't care if some other man is bestowed with the same fate as his. Come, lets leave Khushi. We don't have any work here."

Shyam grabbed his sister's arm and began walking away from the other brother and sister duo, only to be stopped by Arnav's words:

" What do you mean, Mr.Gupta? Why would I want someone in my place?"

Smirking to himself and Khushi at the success of his plan, Shyam turned around to face Arnav, followed by Khushi, who slightly smiled at Anjali, signing that the meeting was going in the right way.

" Well, if you, an educated man with a good job and supporting sister, feels intimidated to take the legal way and get back at your rapist, you can assume the fate of others who are more unfortunate than you. Moreover, I am sure there is a saying which says silence is a form of support and your silence will only make your cruel boss feel more powerful and continue her atrocities, either on you or on other men. If you go silent, I am sure that the consequences will not be very pleasant."

Shyam was convinced that Arnav was thinking in the way he wanted him to think, looking at his features expressing his thoughtful condition and smiled inwardly.

" Will she pull this again? On someone else?" asked Arnav, looking confused and slightly infuriated.

The vulnerability in Arnav's eyes had escaped Khushi's notice, who was well versed with the secrets which the eyes could reveal. Anjali chose to relish the ray of hope which seemed to enter their lives along with Arnav's question and hoped that the light just intensifies and doesn't vanish. The pain of seeing your younger brother in such mental trauma was no less nerve-wrecking than hell and Anjali wanted relief for both of them.

" Of course. I can feel that you were neither her first victim nor will be the last one if we don't do anything about it. From what I learned from Anjali, you were never that person whom anyone would consider as timid as weak. And if she could subject you to such torture, I can only imagine the gruesome crimes she could have committed against people with weaker will, whom she knew would never speak out. I wonder what weakened your great mental strength described by Anjali."

" If I am not the only one, then why did that...that Vimala mock at me?" questioned Arnav, while the flashes of the incident threatened to erase his composure. Seeing his clenched jaws and balled fists, it was not hard for Khushi to realize that Arnav was losing the control on himself. She squeezed her brother's arm, notifying him of the development while he nodded in understanding at her, as he decided to let Khushi speak, as she had more experience in dealing with trauma and could speak in a more calculated manner.

" It takes guts to accept reality of any kind, Arnav, and this is a harsh reality. Believe me, in the initial days, rape was not even a recognized crime and everyone who claimed to be raped were taunted or mocked at. And to add to your worries, the Indian Jurisprudence doesn't recognize men as rape survivors, much unfortunately. The defeat of the judiciary in front of the societal norms shows how these societal norms had become an inseparable part of the society and had become the defining factor rather than a part," Khushi said, looking every where but at Arnav, unable to look at him in the eye and expose the truth.

"If the law doesn't even recognize it, how will I ever get justice? For that matter, how will anyone ever get justice, because people like Vimala wouldn't change even for a threat of death!"

Arnav's defeated tone made the hearts of the other three wrench in pain for him. No matter how many times Khushi had seen such cases, she couldn't help but feel devastated everytime she met a rape victim and this was more severe since law was on the opposite side. As a lawyer, never did Shyam feel more defeated than he did at that moment. The law he believed so religiously in, had failed someone and had refused justice to so many. He had always known it but seeing the truth standing in front of him, teary eyed and lost, he knew that justice and law didn't go hand in hand, not always.

"Law doesn't always provide justice, Arnav. We would always have to fight for it and in this case, a bit more. No one accepted dowry cases to begin with but now do we see the same scenario? No. Previously Mahabharat happened when a man pulled a woman's sari and this time another Mahabharat will be written about a woman dishonoring a man. Aur Dharm Ke Yuddh Main Dharm Kabhi Nahi Harega, Arnav. You and many others like you will find justice. But only if you don't close yourself like this and try to fight for the justice," said Khushi, specks of determination adorning her eyes and streaks of anger ringing in her voice.

The pain which Arnav had lived through from days stung him once again. Empathy flooded his senses as he felt numerous others feeling his pain. If he could stop it, then so be it. He would fight.

" Main Taiyyar Hoon. How should we go about it?" he asked, receiving stares of surprise from everyone but soon they were replaced with smiles and proud looks.
