||Chapter 3||

"Bhaiyya, I need your help. We have a male-rape-victim waiting for justice. Will you help me?"

"Male-rape-victim?" Shyam Gupta asked from the other side to double check that he heard her right. It's not that he didn't believe that male rape victims exist but he thought that some guy had the guts to open up about it but unfortunately Khushi took it the wrong way.

"Bhaiya, are you trying to say that you don't believe that a male can be raped?" Khushi asked dejected thinking that her brother has the same low mentality.

Shyam chuckled at his sister. "No Khushi, I'm just surprised that someone has the courage to speak up. I was just double checking." Shyam said. "Well the victim didn't open up. But his sister did. She wants justice for her brother. And I'm sorry Bhaiyya. I thought even you were like Sandhya ma'am." Khushi said it in a low tone. "To be honest, I never liked that ma'am of yours. I mean she doesn't believe equality. So I'm not surprised that she didn't believe you." Shyam said and he seriously disliked that woman.

"I'll take up this case. Send me all the details and I would like to meet the victim." Shyam added. Khushi said yes and decided to call Anjali and let her know about this.

"Really Khushi? Your brother will fight Chotey's case?" Anjali asked in disbelief. She thought no one will take Arnav's case as no one seems to believe their situation but Khushi and Shyam had proved her wrong. Her faith in humanity has been restored. "Yes Anjali, Shyam Bhaiya will fight for Arnav. But for that he wants to meet him." Khushi said and Anjali's hope went down the drain. Arnav never wanted anyone to know about it as he knew everyone would blame him and the society would give his family a tough time. He had forbid Anjali to reach out to any lawyer but Anjali couldn't see his beloved brother change so much. Also she wanted Sheetal to pay for her deeds.

"Khushi can't I meet him? Arnav doesn't know anything about this." Anjali asked again hoping that there will be a way out. "Anjali, I understand your dilemma but it's his case after all. We can't fight the case without him knowing." Khushi tried to explain her. Anjali finally decided to talk to Arnav. "Okay Khushi. Give me some time I will talk to Chotey. And thank you so much for everything. It means a lot to us." Anjali expressed her gratitude to which Khushi said, "Come on, Anjali. You don't have to thank me. Arnav deserves justice."

"Umm... Anjali I was wondering if I could go to Arnav's office and check on Sheetal? Like, what others think about her. You know we could find some valuable information that may come handy in this case." Khushi asked because at this point even a tiny but of information is important.

"Yeah sure Khushi, but make sure Chotey doesn't get to know about it. Let me talk to him first. I will send you Chotey's office address and his close friends' name. They may assist you." Anjali replied.

Khushi quickly reached Arnav's office and luckily it was lunch time so it would be easier for her to meet his friends but before that she asked someone about Arnav Singh Raizada and his whereabouts. As soon as she got to know that Arnav will be having his lunch in his cabin only she made her way towards the office canteen. She entered the canteen and asked the canteen server about NK, Akash, Payal and Lavanya. The server pointed at their corner.

Khushi went up to them and greeted them.

The group stared at her as they didn't recognize her but they said "hi" back. Khushi felt awkward at first but later on she spilled the beans which shocked the four of them. At first they didn't even believe it but later on they connected the dots together and now they understood Arnav's bizarre and cold behavior towards everyone, especially Sheetal.

"I need your help guys. But please don't let Arnav know anything about this yet. Anjali said she will talk to him first and then let us know. But right now, I need information about Sheetal. Like how she is and all. Even a small detail will be helpful." Khushi said.

"Well Khushi, honestly, uh gosh I have no idea what to say even. I can't believe that Sheetal did this to Arnav. Arnav never told us anything. He just dismissed us from his life. He never hung out with us like before. I think last time we went out to party was like a month ago. He just says "hey" and rest of the time we only talk about work related stuff." Akash said and the rest blamed themselves for not understanding their best friend's pain.

"Although, we have heard a lot of rumors about Sheetal dating various businessmen and she is always seen with a new guy." Payal added.

"I have noticed that Sheetal kinda took extra interest in Arnav. She always gave him the most important works which required him to spend time with her since he needed her approval for everything. Also she used to make him stay back and make him do useless extra works which could be done by other people." NK said.

This Sheetal was much more complicated than they all were thinking.
