Overall Box Office Verdict: Flop
The film looks too dark and dry for the Indian audience. It lacks entertainment value. The director Bejoy Nambiar has a poor track record at the box office with films such as DAVID and SHAITAN faring poorly. Also, the audience has already spent a lot of money on the two big Christmas releases, DILWALE and BAJIRAO MASTANI, and they wouldn't be looking to spend their money on a relatively smaller film releasing quickly after the two biggies.
Having said that, the film will find appreciation from those who watch it amongst the multiplex audience (the film has no appeal for single screen audience), but it won't save the film from being a box office flop.
