He's just going through a bad phase- his career isn't declining.
There are many factors that contributed to his bad phase- the main reason being his film choices and playing similar roles in commerical films- a player. How many times are we going to watch him play that character to death?
Also like one member mentioned- the rise of Varun def is hurting Ranbir. Because when Ranbir was successful- he had no competition. Doesn't mean Ranbir won't recover- I find him to be a better actor than Varun. Varun is just being smarter with his film choices right now.
Also someone mentioned Ranbir focuses more on the directors than the script. That's not good.
Another reason is he doesn't seem as excited or passionate about doing well as he use to be. Maybe his recent failures is taking away from his confidence. He seems confused and lost about his career at the moment. Just needs to focus and do some studying and research on how to be a better/succesful actor.
I think it's ridiculous ro blame Katrina for his flops. Like someone mentioned- Ranbir is the only one that can be blamed.
He needs to be super selective and do commerical films at this point to gain his boxoffice appeal back.
