Aaja Nachle (Singer: Sunidhi Chauhan)
Rating: 7/10
The title track of Aaja Nachle provides a perfect platform for the much awaited return of Madhuri Dixit on the dance stage. The song carries the spunk which will be ignited by the visuals of Madhuri 'thirk'ing on it. Likewise, Sunidhi Chauhan husky rendition has degraded the overall listening experience of the track. Alka Yagnik would have been a better choice behind the mike. On the whole, Aaja Nachle is raw and engaging.

Dance With Me (Singer: Sonia Saigal)
Rating: 4/10
Surprisingly, 'Dance With Me' is an out and out English track. Written by Asif Ali Beg and rendered by new singer Sonia Saigal, the song is orchestrated in a discotheque mood, overheard in the 80s. On the whole, it stands out as a number which should be ignored as the music is far less than amusing.

Is Pal (Singer: Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal)
Rating: 8/10
Beautifully struck vocal chemistry between Shreya Ghoshal and Sonu Nigam creates a magical 'Is Pal'. The song is perfectly set to become one of the most sought after romantic tracks of the year 2007. Likewise, the song looses its impact slightly in the verses till the words 'Is Pal Main Hoon' get you back to a soft and melodious atmosphere.

Ishq Hua (Singer: Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal)
Rating: 6/10
Ishq Hua is just about average in the music and rendition, though the lyrics penned by Jaideep Sahni raises the level of the track by the impeccable use of poetic words. The song is sweetly synchronized with the lyrics and will hold on to entertain you for a few hearings.

Koi Patthar Se Na Maare (Singer: Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam)
Rating: 4/10
Koi Patthar Se Na Maare boasts of high profile singers in the credit list but the track is too slow in its rhythm and fails to evoke joy during the course of the track. The poetic words written by Piyush Mishra are asynchronously set in a below average tune.

Show Me Your Jalwa (Singer: Richa Sharma, Kailash Kher, Salim Merchant)
Rating: 6/10
Show Me Your Jalwa is a fun filled song set amidst the mystique masti surrounded in a town area. The song is set in a pacy rhythm but fails to get on you without the visuals. The situational track may be loved for its Indianized accent but other than that, the masti is limited till the cinematic experience.

O Re Piya (Singer: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan)
Rating: 6/10
Sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, O Re Piya belongs to the genre often heard for its sufiyana flavour. Here too, the poetic words written by Jaideep Sahni impress the most while music composers Salim-Sulaiman arrange a quality score for the subtle song. Here too, the overall impact left by the track is more or less invisible in the first hearing.

Soniye Mil Ja (Singer: Madhuri Dixit, Sukhwinder Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan)
Rating: 6/10
Now, we come across a song which resembles to the title track of Salim-Sulaiman's previous hit Chak De! India. In Soniye Mil Ja, Madhuri Dixit one of the reasons for which the song can be lent a hearing. Sukhwinder Singh pumps in with his usual energy while Sunidhi Chauhan pitches in only for a small bit. The track talks about the day-to-day happenings in a small town and the incidents which are part of our lives. Likewise, the song is not a chartbuster like most of the songs of Aaja Nachle and that has left me sheerly disappointed. Much was expected from this musical soundtrack.
