The most ridiculous song I've heard till date..

Telephone Dhun- Hindustani

telephone dhun mein hasne vaali
melbourne machhali machalane vaali

I mean.. what in the world are they talking about.. are they going to kill the entire world? and yet I laugh everytime I hear this .. 😛

Yea, that song reaches a point of ridiculous that we never even considered in our debate. Probably because it's not exactly a mistake....The lyricist knew exactly what he was saying. But, yeah, you're absolutely right. Completely ridiculous lyrics with no point whatsoever.

Let's just focus on grammatical or lingusitic errors. If we go into ridiculous lyrics, it opens up a Pandora's box 😆

Sample a couple 🤢

"Aao dikhaaon, tumhe ande ka funda"

"What is mobile number, what is your smile number"

Another one!!

14) Saanson Ka Chalna – Jeet (Sameer)

main hota agar koyi shayer, to karta koyi shayeri

According to my dad, "koyi shayeri' is grammatically incorrect. Koyi can only be used when referring to something specific, so you can say "koyi sher" or "koyi ghazal", but not "koyi shayeri" because shayeri is a descriptive word defining anything that has the qualities of poetry. It's not that big of an issue, but I also agree that it doesn't sound very good. Maybe he should have said "to karta abhi shayeri" or something similar.

😆

oh he is online a lot, but I don't think he would be interested in coming on this forum...he's more interested in discussing politics. I'm just conveying his words. It was his criticizing bad lyrics that caused me to start noticing these things too.
