Silvy, how are you find the episodes?I watched the first five episodes. Cast is good but I feel Shrenu overacts as Parvati. A lot of AI addition/VFX effects but they seem too clean in terms of editing.
Child actors do have a good commanding presence, however, I feel there were too many stories running in parallel, Imo.
I felt too much chronological distortions in my face.
Indra dev is really humanized/selfish one of this show but Karan does good in making his role a grey shaded one.
Not surprised since SKR days
Even Achint does good as Diti but her environment is GoT vibes
Karthikeya ki better half, Valli ko bhi dikhadia
thoda jaldi hora h sab kuch lol.
I managed to watch the first three episodes and... Well ... Not too convinced that I want to continue.
Sorry that I am going to rant and complain but the show gives me stuff to do so... Soo... Here it is...
I loved the effects and music, those parts were a treat to watch...
The kids are lovely but the story is so terribly messy that I don't want to continue... Shrimad Ramayan was bad enough, VH was a disaster and now this show goes beyond that...
Why do they have to portray Karthikeya as some kid with so much family trauma... ? He literally had an existential crisis at every scene... Valli introduced way too soon... Did they even mention where all of this was happening? And why does Indra always have to be portrayed so mean...? Karan did a good job mellowing it down I suppose but the story still pushes him to be a villain. Why is Sachi so scheming as well?
Shiva and Parvati are adorable but... I can't feel the divinity in this series at all. It probably went on a long vacation. Nevertheless I liked the father and son talk... Although story wise it was abysmal... For some reason the show portrays Karthikeya to be born with the sole purpose of vanquishing demons (and what's with Tarakasura? He's in a stasis of some sort absorbing life force of some beings... Did he get the idea from Supreme Yaskin or something?).
And Ganesha is supposed to be born to bring the family together? That's his purpose...? There's so much they can show but they choose to show Shiva's family being traumatised by every other character there.
I liked the portrayal of the six Krithikas. Their make up was beautiful. I wish there was more colour on them...
Diti, although believably ambitious and cruel, gave me a feeling of some sort of Grimm's fairytale queen/witch who got her hands on some Indian clothes and jewellery...
I don't know... I may watch once in a while or if something good turns up but... I am sick of all the nonsensical stories hence will stay away until they run a decent storyline.
