Actress Gizele Thakral, who made a mark in Bigg Boss 9 for her frank demeanour and more so, her lips, is the latest contestant to finish her journey in the reality show. After her 3-week-long stint in the house, Gizele is raring to begin promotions of her upcoming films Kya Super Kool Hain Hum 3 and Mastizaade.we caught up with her to get her answer a few questions. Did you expect your BB journey would end so soon?
I am still not feeling well. I am disappointed (with my eviction) and was not expecting it. I am recovering from my collar bone dislocation (which happened during the "Haunted House" task).
What are your thoughts on your co-wild card contestant Nora's success in staying in the game?
She is smart, but she is not a strong contender. She cannot even speak proper Hindi. When she entered the house, she caught hold of the strongest contender, Prince. Now, she is safe by befriending Prince and the Cool Group', as no one among them is nominating her. But, that was not my strategy. I can't stay under anyone's wings to secure my position. When I made entry into the house, Kishwer felt threatened with me because of my intimidating presence.
What's happening between Nora and Prince?
Prince is innocent. He was earlier rejected by Yuvika (Chaudhary) and he even recounted to me how no girl wanted to pair-up with him before entering the BB house. So, he was insecure due to this rejection. Nora was evaluation everyone from Day 1. She saw Priya does not have anyone's backing and even Rishabh is not cared for. Then after, she saw Prince being manipulated by Kishwer and Suyyash. So, she approached Su-Kish and made them her mom and dad (in the house). She also began an affair with Prince. That was her strategy. I can't play such a game. I am not fake.
What was the mood of the house while you were leaving?
Sab dare hue the... but kisi ne nahi kaha ki Gizele jayegi. 11 hafton ke baad energy nahi rahi hai kisi mein. From inwardly all of them have given up on the game. Mere andar josh hai. Mujhe show ka craze tha. But anyway, the good thing was that I left the house with Salman Khan.
What does Mandana mean to you?
Actually she may be rude but, but she has a good side too. She took care of me when no one was by my side initially. Her negative point is she has trust issues because when Priya went to her to badmouth me, she took it seriously. I don't know if she takes me a friend or not, but I have high regards for her.
