Sony TV's Pyaar Ko Ho Jaane Do, produced by Balaji Telefilms will be the next to bid adieu.

The show which was meant to be a finite one will end once it will complete 104 episodes. News coming to us is that the last airing date will be 22 January 2016. The unit will wrap up shoot by mid January.

As per a source, "The show did not see an increase in TRP. So the question of extending the show did not arise."

We hear that the decision has been notified to the actors.

We tried buzzing the channel spokesperson but did not get any revert.

We will soon get back with more developments.

The show is going to complete its 50 epis on monday, so how is it possible for it complete 54 epis within less than a month time? Even 26th jan is after 22nd jan, so india ka republic day bhi pre pone ho jayega kya? 😆

Yes its a finite series and I do hope it gets over as per plan and not hurriedly.

it's obvious when trp is 0.2 they won't keep on air 6 month n all was totally impossible 100% channel will end it soon

Its a finite show of 6 months...And only 2 months passed...I hope they abide to what they promised and complete it as per schedule...22nd jan means not more than 25 episodes from now...So I hope this is a rumour!!!

I still hope it completes its tenure of 104 epis. And tep being low, reporters also had 0.2 throughout if I am not wrong and they ended as per schedule. Hope pkhjd will not be the exception too. Sony needs to revamp their strategic plan altigether to be back in the business. These shutting down shows, again launching few others is not going to serve any of the parties any purpose unfortunately.

Found some wifi finally!! But that is this?? The serial shouldn't end before March at least! And low TRP is not the serials fault at all!! It's because of nonsensical Sony policies of not promoting their serials and their love for CID and CP.. Had PKHJD been airing on some other channel, it would have broken TRP records! Ekta should really re air PKHJD on some other channel and continue there... Hope this is a rumour only and seriously pray Sony finds the brains it has lost..

Ok. This isn't done. There's so much of storytelling left. They can't just end it so abruptly. Bringing in a new show won't get them any trps anyway, so why can't they let it run for it's normal due course. Only 49 episodes have been aired and it's a 104 episode story. Honestly, I feel bad for the actors, I mean they've put a lot of hard work into the show and this is the kind of treatment they get. Reporters was also a finite series, but the same channel let them run the entire story, infact it also got extended for 10 episodes or so, despite the 0.2 trps. It's really a sad state of affairs. It won't be long before the channel itself shuts down.
