Gangaa has been forever waiting for this day: yet when the day arrived, she was so overwhelmed that all she could do was let her long wait flow through her eyes, while she herself froze and couldn't bring herself to face Sagarš³ Whereas Sagar was as impatient to meet Gangaa as she was, and he was determined to meet her even though she hid herself.. I loved the fact that Sagar could feel her presence even though he couldn't see her.. "Thi toh wo yahin hi... par gayi kahan..?" This shows how stronger their bond and connection has become over the years.ā¤ļø
Gangaa, who couldn't hold her tension anymore, now ran through the streets of Banaras to celebrate her exhilaration, while Sagar befriended J.P. so that it could tell him where she isš
And finally, the BIG moment came... Sagar found Gangaa on the picturesque ghat, who checking herself through her image in the water. The moment Sagar called out her name, she froze again, blushed hard and closed her eyes so that she didn't let Sagar see how vulnerable she has become in his wait. Sagar, as determined as he was, tricked her into opening her eyes and what followed was perhaps one of my favorite first-meeting scenes of Indian tv Sagar immediately saw her tears, which though he thought was due to dirt, but as Gangaa said, her eyes had only and only himš³ Sagar was totally taken aback and was lost in her while we have our first Ishq-nasheen scene , He momentarily feels something as his eyes lock hers, but then totally dismisses off as one of the witty comebacks of Gangaaš Oh Sagar! Vishal was so so good here!š
And then, like how childhood friends should react upon meeting after many years, they argued (friendly!) about who changed a lot over the years and howš Sagar acknowledged that while she has her core characteristics and height intactš, she has certainly become more beautiful š³and now knows how to blushš Aditi was brilliant and subtle when she changed her expression from blush to embarrassmentāļø So Gangaa once again tries to hide her inner feelings by making a comeback at Sagar's noseš She was so shocked to hear that Sagar has admirers (seriously?!š) and her shock knows no bound when she meets his "JAAN" Jaanvi, who has to make her appearance at that exact momentš
I don't remember the last time I loved both the male and female lead actorsš Vishal and Aditi took this episode up to an entirely different level, and the ghats of Banaras only added more beauty to it
(I am skipping Madhavi's portion and her weird and sly smileš„±)
