Truly that was so sweet, Reshu. Hagrid indeed was the one who introduced Harry to the magical world in the first place... and I think the only one apart from Harry we see expressing grief for Hedwig in the book. This was beautifully expressed.

I agree. Hedwig's character wasn't strong but it really did make way into our hearts. The death was so sadly written. Too bad that Jk Rowling took away even Hedwig from us.

I was actually glad that she didn't take McGonagall, Hagrid, Neville and Luna... I mean imagine the plight of Potterheads. :P . though I had a feeling that the later two won't die.

JK mam said Hedwig's death symbolized the complete loss of the sense of innocence and wonder with which Harry had entered the Wizarding World. I'm just too grateful she didn't kill Hagrid and Neville at least. You know how badly a certain free elf's death affected me.

Vaise speaking of the HP soundtracks, I had participated in this composers contest in 2013, to rescore the climax of OOTP. Its not that good but I tried to incorporate some of my favourite themes from the series in there. This is my entry.

Dunno if they'll upload officially, but we'll get fan recordings more likely. Still, I wish JK mam agrees to come out with a written version of it sometime.
