Ohk so here is the matter
A films future or say whether or not it is gonna sustain is determined by the trend on Monday

Dilwale was way ahead than BM during Weekend
BUT increase was very less compared to gradual increase in BM collections --- 12-15-18cr compared to 21-20-24cr... a drop in Saturday for Dilwale

Shift to Monday that changed everything and showed the whole picture
Diwale collection way below that of BM... 55%drop from Friday compared to 10-15% for BM

Despite the star cast, perfect promotion strategy, hit music, ROHIT Shetty film, SRK Kajol evergreen story ... what went wrong that film saw such a huge crash??? BAD WOM
Public is rejecting it

Though collections in numbers might be high for Dilwale compared to BM but in long run it might turn to be lowest grosser for SRK in last few years

but in real world, people are LOVING it!

People who hate it are also from real world. People posting here are also from real world. We don't live in mars and we're not robots either.

u r saying people are going from BM now but will go to dilwale in xmas and new year? Why would people do that? If the WOM was good, they would go now and then too. The WOM is not good, the trend isn't good that means that by each passing day, the collections will decrease not increase. it might increase on that particular day but it'll drop again, overall its a big disappointment for all involved.

and It'll not do 200cr - it'll end up doing 170cr (my prediction)

so lets wait and find out. I'll bump this thread if my prediction comes true šŸ˜‰

I didn't hear such terrible things about PRDP. And also it was made to entertain people rather than just earning money.
It's fine if they try to make a good film and fail but films like Dilwale which are made with the only intention of making money & breaking records must fail.

As for BM Vs Dilwale, BM has already won the battle.

Beat BM ?? i thought Dilwale's targets were Khan movies like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, PK , PRDP. šŸ˜†

& btw , BM has both critical acclaim & commercial success . Dilwale will most probably be known as an underperformer despite a big starcast , return of an iconic jodi & the most bankable commercial film director.

It will be also knows that BM who was mocked n was touted to be eaten alive by Dilwale is trending better n making collections more than Dilwale on weekdays. šŸ˜†
