Bajirao Mastani has released and is winning immense acclaim for its grandeur, scale and actors. Ranveer, Deepika and Priyanka all are being appreciated for their performances and the three stars can't stop smiling about it.

While Ranveer is absolutely bang on as 'Rao' aka Bajirao, one wonders what would it be like if Ranbir Kapoor was cast in this role?

When a leading daily asked Deepika Padukone about it, the pretty lady answered, "It would have been very different (thinking).. then all the dynamics would have changed. Mastani would have changed, Kashi too. Even if the same heroines were cast the dynamics would change. Somehow for me when I was offered Bajirao..., it was always Ranveer, but that could also be my bad that I am stereotyping an actor. Though it would be interesting to see Ranbir in a role like this!"

I have always mention this. One thing I hate about deepika is the ranbir factor. She would've been so likeable and relateable more if she didn't have that factor in my opinion. I still think she's likeable but everytime she mentions rk or working with rk, my respect for her goes down

Why their need to Ask Deepika everytime abt Ranbir doing this movie that movies its hell annoying now. 🥱

She did it to herself by allowing to work with him. She's basically open to answer questions about him

Stereotyping or not I agree with her that Ranveer suits these types of characters more than Ranbir. Ranbir to me can't seem to pull off macho warrior type characters convincingly.

Ditto. I have so much adoration for her work onscreen, especially with Piku, but then she ruins it all with the constant Ranbir jaap
