Hi guys...I am a silent reader here...I love all the stories here...I am not a great fan of the show thanks to too much of drama going on in a loop...but I am great fan of SwaSan...I like RagLak too and wish Ragini was still positive...Swasan has a lot of potential and its being utilised here much better than in the show...I love the posts here and there are some wonderful writers Sakura, foresight , sparkler08, the list is so long...I thought of writing a simple fanfic on Swasan...I am not much of a writer...but anyway I am postingthis...rotten tomatoes are welcome 😉 😃

The premise here is totally different from the show but the characters are somewhat same. The story is very simple...not a very elaborate plot...but i tend to drag...sorry in advance. There is nouch negativity either i think. Hope i dont disappoint you guys.

PROLOGUE

There was utter darkness all around her. The room seemed to have blended into the dark night. Normally she was afraid of the dark. But not now. Not when there was so much darkness in her own heart. This darkness she could get rid if but what about thevdarkness in her life?? What could she do when the person who was her light had given her this darkness. No she will have to live in this darkness. It was her punishment. She had made a fool of herself. She will have to suffer alone. She had made a huge mess and she was going to live with it. She closed her eyes as more tears stained her face.

Many voices rang in her head.

"I love you too Swara" one voice said. His voice.

Another voice shouted "He made a fool of you. He was playing with you"

"He never loved you" another voice said.

"I am here for you. I am your friend." Another voice said.

It was killing her. These voices.

"No. Stop it." She screamed to herself letting the darkness drown her again.

Hi guys...Thanks for your comments...its really nice of you people...sorry for not replying to every comment...I have exams coming up in Jan...I am gonna update chapter 1...I dont know how frequently I will be able to update.

The initial chapters are mainly to introduce the characters.

CHAPTER 1

"Yes sir, I will inform Miss Gadodia immediately" a young woman talked into the receiver she was carefully balancing between her face and shoulder. In both her hands she carried files. She was hurrying into her boss' room. She was always busy. After all she was PA to one of the most successful enterpreneurs in Kolkata.

She knocked and entered the cabin. Her boss was sitting on the chair turned towards the glass window looking into the bright daylight outside. She knew her boss wasnt admiring the day. She was probably in another world...preoccupied in thinking. Sometimes she wished her boss would take some time off to enjoy life. After all she was as young as she herself was. Just a year or two older probably.

"What happened Priya?" Her boss asked her.

"Ma'am your Dadaji called. The meeting is in an hour. The clients will be here soon" Priya replied.

"Ok...welcome them properly and then inform me..." her boss replied her chair still facing the window.

"You sound nervous Miss Gadodia" Priya said.

Swara Gadodia wheeled round her chair and stood up. She smiled gently at her PA . They knew each other well enough. Priya was an efficient employee and had been with her for 2 years. Priya knew her moods well.

"Of course I am. Its an important deal. Not in money terms. That way we have undetaken bigger projects. But this company can offer us a lot more influence in national markets." Swara replied.

"Dont worry..You will get it done. You always do." Priya assured her.

"Thank you. Leave those files on the table" Swara told her smiling.

As Priya left Swara walked around the cabin. Priya was right. She could do it. After all she was among the youngest buisnesswomen in the city.

Thinking of the how much she had strengthened Dadaji's company made her feel confident. She hadnt just strengthened an empire but rebuilt a falling one. Her Dadaji was a man of good business sense. He had built a strong empire. But no matter how strong or big an empire might be, it has to be looked after and expanded so that it stays strong. This did not happen because her Baba Mr. Shekhar Gadodia had lacked his father's abilities. Hence the business went on as before but without much development. Dadaji had managed to keep it going but with her father's death things changed. That fateful accident. She lost her parents. Losing his only son broke Dadaji. By the time he recovered the business had started suffering and 2 years layer she had come here and taken over as his sucessor. She still remembered the day she had taken the decision thanks to Ragini's call. She had been to busy with her own messed up life to think about her family. Ragini's phone call had been a wake up call.

At that instant her phone rang. She smiled looking at the name on the screen.RAGINI. Her little sis. The person she loved the most.

"Haan Ragu..kya hua??" She asked.

"Di...mein bahot nervous hoon..Dadimaa told you about the Maheshwaris' proposal na?? They are coming to see me in an hour" Ragini replied very tensed.

"But Dadi said they were coming tomorrow evening" swara replied confused.

"Yes...their family will come tomorrow..their pandit said that tomorrow is very auspicious for roka ceremony...they want to do it tomorrow...so the women are coming to see me...tomorrow they will bring him" Ragini said.

"Oh" Swara said "seems the next one hour is very important for us both"

"Kyun di?? You alright??" Ragini asked.

"That deal Dadaji was talking about...the meeting is happening in an hour...I am nervous too"Swara replied.

"Oops di...sorry for..." Ragini said.

Swara cut her in "No...you are not disturbing me...just relax...lets just be ourselves...I am sure they will like you"

"And your clients will like you di. All the best to us. Bye"

With that Ragini hung up.

Swara sat down in her chair. She was worried about Ragini. These traditions and customs are so confusing. Why did the women fromthe family have to meet Ragini first?? Shouldnt it be the guy?? They were planning to do the roka without even letting the couple meet. She had never liked this idea of arranged marriage but this was Ragini. They were very different. Ragini had always followed traditions and she knew this wouldnt bother Ragini.

She knew she didnt have to worry about Ragini. Ragini was innocent and soft spoken but not a weakling. They were botg like their mom strong and determined. 7 years ago when that accident had claimed their parents 21 year old Swara had left home to study. Her mom had always wanted her to go. So she had left to fulfil her mom' wish and birne the pain of losing her alone. She prefered it thatvqay. Ragini who was then 17, on the other hand, stayed behind with her grandparents takng care of them. She had shared their pain and convinced them that life must go on. That was her Ragini. She wanted the best for her. She mentally made a note to enquire about the guy. His name was Lakshya.

Her thought was interrupted when Priya came in and informed her that the clients were here.

"Ma wish ur Swaragini success" she said to the photo of her mom on the table and left for the meeting.
