Pulkit Samrat has ditched Salman Khan's rakhi sister Shweta Rohira to cuddle up in Yami Gautam's arms. So, naturally Pulkit and Yami are going to be bombarded with some very uncomfortable questions in the next few days since their film Sanam Re is round the corner.

So last night, 9xe probed the two of them when they came out together for the first time for the film's promotion.

Let's tell you what exactly transpired:

To begin with, Pulkit acted clueless, saying he has heard all sorts of stories like 'Maggi mein lead hai' and what not, without directly addressing the query.

When we still wouldn't let him off the hook, he said: "I am not dating anyone, but I don't know about Yami."

The actress, on the other hand, said: "My love life is a private matter and I'd like it to remain like that. Why should stories about Pulkit and me overshadow the film?"

However, she kept completely mum when we pointed out that she had reportedly been the cause for Pulkit's marriage breaking up. Well, haven't you heard about silence speaking volumes?

So, does Pulkit still believe in marriage? And, how is he coping with the separation? "I believe in the institution of love, not marriage," he said, adding that he hasn't spoken to Shweta about a possible reconciliation.
