No Hype for Deepika As Mastani

Usually there is a hype around a performance, lots of appreciation and recognition - which is just not there for her. ITs there for Ranveer and Priyanka but not Deepika...Even Kangana was HEAVILY appreciated after TWM2, the film became a huge hit only because of her acting performance.

That was pretty evident after the trailer came out.

OP: Mastani never had much going for her, neither the grace in her dance nor the kind of sympathy one could give Kashi. I was almost indifferent to her during the whole movie except the part where she was running with her child, that was the only part I felt bad for her. Deepika was a miscast for this role, her Leela Sanera is million times better than Mastani; period films don't seem her type. As a trained dancer, you're suppose to have a certain grace, which DP lacked; since she was dancing most of the times in the movie, I think that was suppose to be an important detail. PC was more graceful which is ironic considering the role she is playing.

No awards for SRK or Kajol, poor them. 😆
