it is very hard to judge...shobana is a beautiful, graceful dancer.ididnt like the beat of the song much, but she still made it good because of her dance...i agree with eljay to some extent that jo's dance was crazy, but she was meant to be possessed and she did it well. soundarya was also ok. it was sad seeing it because it was her last dance before she died
i voted for shobana, but im still not sure

I am sorry if I offended you, but if you are a Jothika fan, you have a right to be offended. Since I am not in that category, I made that remark. I will gladly withdraw it if you want, but it did look like a dance by a possessed person.

I'm sorry, I over reacted. You are right, I'm a Jo fan, so thats why I was offended. I think Jo looked more like a puppet in the song, and to be truthful, i voted for Shobhana. Its like, 'if you've wacthd shobhana, you'll like Jo, but if you havnt wathced shobhna, you'll love her'. I just thoguht peyattam, was a harsh word. There's no need to withdraw your coment, this is a free forum😊

I saw the Shobana dance a couple of years back and I was struck by the sheer elegance and the understatement of that scene. Having seen Jo's dance again, I would tip slightly in favour of Jo, since as Caryn said, it was scarier and she did her best to do a Bharata Natyam. Shobana is a polished and accomplished dancer, Jo is not. To therefore dance and scare people at the same time is no mean feat! (Although some would say that her dancing style itself was scary! 😆 )
